Thanks to your continual patience, they are a family now. Good job! I wonder what it is with Mercy and the Bug-on-a-Stringy?
She's a fully little bag of mixed up courage and fears. She did come out and inspect the bug on a wire when left sitting today. The lizard which excites the twins to extremes sends her packing for the back room. I remind myself that as long as she has what feels like a safe refuge there is no reason to deprive the other cats. Last week she was terrified of the bug but today she gave it a few good slaps. Thanks to your continual patience, they are a family now. Good job! Yeah they're all JG toys. It's hard seeing her scared by when I put it away she's right back out here under my feet. Mercy loves her elastic string. The tigers have to be exhausted at least twice a day. They'll chase that lizard until they drop sometimes I think it's their rowdiness that puts her off. Husband takes Mercy into our bedroom for individual play time and she really struts walking back there when she sees him with one of her toys. She looks big but that fur hides a tiny little cat.Jackson Galaxy always says on his show that some cats like the ground prey wand toys like the lizard, and others like the air prey wand toys with the feathers. So it sounds like Mercy likes the air prey feather toys.
Silly everyone wants a Mercy be we have the only one.I WANT ONE OF THOSE! Where did you find it?
I wonder the same. Even harder is trying to remember a time they weren't here.Wow, not babies anymore.
I haven't been around for a while and I'm losing my mind looking at all the pictures.
It seems just yesterday when you first posted the pictures of Tera. Where has the time gone.
Love it. Best as always. xoxoxoxox
Go to your nearest kill shelter and look for a greasy big eyed kitten sitting in the back of it's cage. Ignore the shelter worker guiding you to the pretty social kitties. Hold the ruffian against your heart and if they beat together take it home.Yes, I want a Mercy too, where can I buy one?
Yes and she came up in an email from an old search two days after Kittens cremation. Over a 100 mile round trip. I have her intake photo paper somewhereMercy was in a kill shelter? Yikes, I'm so glad you found her. Did you see her online before you went to the shelter?
Yes I know. Really all I used was the art of doing nothing. She was the only kitten that didn't have a playmate in her cage. The worker reached in and grabbed her by the scruff and said-Yeah I know you don't want to come out of there. Like I've said before I had the chance to talk to the woman who did the intake when she was returned, The woman who handled my adopting her and the animal warden. A little more perception of her physical condition, very underweight and dirty to the skin would have changed the narrative. In fact she had a laundry list going on with her but none of them were really behavior issues.Only cat? That goes to show either one of two things...the shelter and/or the former adopters had no clue about introductions, OR it is a testament to your love and patience. I'm going with both, and about 90% of each...yeah. I know that equals 180%, but so be it.
