This was scanned from an old photograph among my late Father's belongings - his beloved Siamese, Victoria, and her dear Friend, Thunder. The back reads, "Tori, age 20 - Thunder, age 16."

Thank you mama africa for your ever present understanding. I have spent a long moment going through Cucumella's old photos wih a broken heart. Sombra is very gentle and sweet and I love her but Cucumella...............well she was Cucumella. And so very special.

Cucumella was indeed a very special little cat, with an incredibly dedicated mum.

golondrina wow love that picture! Isn't it funny how they kiss up to us after being little brats?!!! Honeybee does the same thing! Jumps up kissing us then whining for treats while leaving behind messes!

Thank you 1CatOverTheLine. Yes Sombra can be very sweet but also quite defiant "answering back" when scolded. I wish I could translate her protests. I had never before known a kitten to be so vocal.

Thank you foxxycat. I'm glad I am not the only kitten parent with a rascal trying to get away with their misbehaviour with apparent repentant kisses.

My angel Sooty (lost her in April) was the most affectionate little angel. Was a lap cat from day one and loved nothing more than snuggling up with her. Miss our cuddles so much. I dont have many photos on my phone (most on PC), but heres a few..
