We got both powder and liquid in a can of same brand. We have been using powder today. We tried to bottle feed them but they did not know how drink yet and the mom was getting scared. They are on the small side, but good you’ve weighed them. Continue to weigh at the same time daily. Did you buy the powdered or pre-mixed formula? Do help place them on nipples if need be.
The powdered is much easier to work with because you can mix just the amount you need, with the premixed liquid you might end up having to throw some of it away if you don't use it all.We got both powder and liquid in a can of same brand. Okay thank you. The largest and the smallest ones were not eating very much. The largest one just kept trying to find a nipple and pushing the others off and when he did find one he would not nurse on it.The pre-mixed tends to cause diarrhea. Put it away for an emergency. Powdered is superior in every way.
Why were you feeding the kittens? Are they not nursing mom? Only feed if they are not gaining weight or losing weight or not nursing. They should be settling in and sleeping when they are not nursing.
