Hi Graceful Lilly. My crotton is placed at 1 meter 20 from an eastern window. The curious thing is that the most colourful leaves are those facing the opposite side, i.e. not facing the window.

The supermarket had a Teneli succulent today:

I resisted the temptation to buy it.

Repotting the peperomia seems to have helped. I haven't found any more fallen leaves since.

This plant by the name of Gazania was given to me today and I understand that, although in principle it is a garden plant, it can be treated successfully as an interor plant if plenty of direct sunshine is assured for it in front of a window. Can anyone kindly confirm this please?

Pupdate! All leaves have propogated. Including the tiny piece of leaf. The other one I thought wasn't growing pups was actually growing them underneath so I flipped the leaf over. No brown tips just yet. But super happy that all leaves are doing something.

Leroy decided to chew on one of the plants in succulent garden :cringe: I found three leaves on the floor and one partially chewed one still on the plant. He did this after he had dinner so it wasn't because he was hungry. Anyone know if the particular succulent is harmful or not? Possibly a type of Sedeveria? :oops:It's one of the front two in this older picture:

Obviously I'm going to keep an eye on Leroy. With his fussy IBD tummy, anything can happen:fear:

EDIT:
It does looks like a Sedeveria. Mountain Crest Farm lists this type as pet-friendly: Sedeveria 'Sorrento' Mine might be a "Jet Bead" one. I can't find any toxic / nontoxic info on it so I'll just keep an eye on Leroy. I have to call the vet tomorrow anyways and will mention it.

I wasn't able to get a hold of the vet's secretary today. Guess they got busy with emergencies. Leroy is still fine :crossfingers:

I spoke with the vet's secretary. She couldn't find any info on the succulent either. We're just going to keep an eye on Leroy for now. He's still fine. Might be good to grow some cat grass for him to munch on now.
