Blissed out kitty. Oscar was on his back with his paws in the air totally blissed out on my side of the bed toasting himself on the electric blanket. Kira jumped up and woke him. From unwanted stray cat to totally spoiled housecat (he deserves to be spoiled).

This is so my girl Ruska! She wants her on pillow to lay next to me while I give her scritches. What a princess indeed.

If anyone’s wondering, yes, Phoebe is squinting slightly. She had either a scratch or something in her eye on Sunday evening. Took her to the vet Monday morning. They put fluorescing dye in and had a look under black light, but there was no damage visible, just redness in the lower cornea and lid. Vet flushed her eye, gave her an antibiotic shot and prescribed Chlorsig ointment twice daily for a week. Her eye’s looking better, but not quite back to normal. Makes me thinkshe might have had a little scratch - there’s a tiny red scratch above the eye, which would have to be from Daisy smacking her.
