And a bad pic, but look how lucky am I! I was sick today, and pretty tired all day. They all wanted to have a nap with me, I felt so warm and comforted having them on my side.

Wow, sounds like a heaven! I'm dreaming of buying a bigger apartment at some point, and then have rescues - now I'd love to, but our place is just not big enough for more people and cats.

Property is more affordable in the Mojave (100+ miles from Los Angeles) than in metro L.A. We had a hectare (2.5 acres) of land and a nice house on it, with outbuildings and a 4-stall (12'x12'x4) barn with a fenced compound. It was a Paradise for us!

Gypsy warm and dry on a cold damp November day. She wanted out earlier so we went from the front door around the side of the house to the back yard, sniffed around the hedge to spook some sparrows and in the back door.

Miss Eleanor and Bashful. Sometimes they will be like this, while at other times it will be a regular hiss-fest. But then, they're cats. It's what they do.

I woke up this morning all scrunched up. This is the reason why. Oscar (black) and Tigger (ginger & white) hogging the bed

To the left of me, out of the picture was Shady and behind me on the spare pillow was Kira. I managed to slink out of bed without waking these two sleeping beauties up. My bed or theirs. That is the question.
