I would like to leave you with something I wrote for my wedding. I used it on the cover of my wedding programs. I had a hard time finding something unique that wasn't over done and predictable or too mushy so I decided that I had to compose something myself.
"To love someone is life's greatest sacrifice;
To give of one's self completely.
To be loved by someone is life's greatest gift;
To recieve someone's self completely.
In marriage we find life's greatest moment;
When sacrifice and gift are but an exchange,
leaving no one without self but creating complete unity."
SO...I sat quietly in front of a lit white taper candle, and my mind's eye saw you, lovely and radiant, as you walked down the aisle. My mind's eye saw your soon-to-be husband's face light up with love and hope and joy. I saw you face each other, unafraid, and heard your vows ringing in my ears. And it was good.
I am assuming she is married and on her way, or soon will be on her way, to Australia. I am sure at some point we will get an update hopefully with pictures.
