Lari - I'm sorry. I wasn't laughing at you or anything it's just with all this planning, you forgetting you and your fiancé for the venue count, I saw it as a cute little mistake. Like, "Look, honey. We're getting married and I didn't even remember that we'd also be eating at OUR wedding!" Since, you're so close to the day now, I hope it isn't a hard thing to correct.

You are not an idiot. It sounds like something I would do if my mind was filled with details. You’ve already covered a ton of details lately without a flaw. I don’t think I could come close to matching all you have accomplished. Later, When all this is over, that will be one of the stories you tell and that will make you laugh. It will be okay.

I love the cat cards. One more purrfect detail. As for a necklace..... hmmmm, the dress is stunning so I say you could go either way with that. Maybe try a little something and see. Your taste is exquisite so ,trust it. I’m in love with the hair vine. At this point, no matter what you choose, you’ll be absolutely gorgeous.
Don’t let the dollar dance tradition make you uncomfortable if it comes up. This is your day and you just need to enjoy it. Do whatever makes you feel good that day.

I'm not upset at you Graceful-Lily , I'm just freaking out because they needed the final count 14 business days in advance so I sent it in last Tuesday and it's less than two weeks to the event and our contract says they can't guarantee additions after the two week mark.

Fiancé says they'll fix it, and I hope he's right and I can laugh about this later. I just feel like such an idiot.

I hope they realize that it was an honest mistake. I know there is a contract but things happen sometimes. That should be expected.

Please, don't beat yourself up about it. You are not an idiot. This could have happened to anyone. I'm sure you are not the first and you will not be the last. There is a lot of ground to cover with planning a wedding (something I hadn't fully grasped/realized until you made this thread) so sometimes, things slip through or we forget things. I'm sure it's all normal.

The day of, when you're putting on your wedding dress with your bridesmaids around you and everyone getting ready with adrenaline in their bloodstream, your mind won't be thinking about the error. I'm sure that more than anything, your husband-to-be will be on my mind.

I forgot to include fiancé and me in the final meal count for our venue. I emailed her, but it'll just be like me to not have dinner at my own wedding.

You're not alone! Our niece and her husband did the same thing and didn't realize their mistake till the day before the wedding. The (sit-down dinner) reception was at a restaurant, which thought that was pretty funny and simply made up a special "bride and groom" platter.

I am sure they take into consideration that may happen and have extra meals just in case. Don't fret.

My fiancé called them this morning while I was at the circus and got it fixed for us, thankfully. And I got this field trip I was dreading out of the way. So I'm feeling better and calmer tonight.

Tbh, yesterday was a really rough day at school, so I think the fact that I had already been emotional and angry from that put me that close to the edge last night where any little thing that went wrong would have caused tears.

Glad you're feeling better. When I am stressed and weather permitting, and I know this is so overstated, but it
helps me when I go for a walk. Especially this time of year. It's cool and crisp at night.

Nope! We watered them and put them in the light where the cats can't reach and hopefully that'll be enough. Succulents aren't supposed to require a lot of water.

Oh, succulents are pretty hardy. Mine have survived for years and I'm an awful gardener. Plenty of light, not too much water and they'll be fine.

They're our wedding favors! Hopefully people take them home and we don't have to keep 80 succulents ourselves!

I feel so poor.

And I need to stop overeating. Halloween and PD days are not ideal right now. But I guess I couldn't gain that much in a week and will still fit my dress. And I'll try to behave this weekend.

Lari It's wedding week!!!! This week is going to get a bit crazy for you, so I just wanted to say now I wish you nothing but the best and I hope your day is everything you dreamed of. Don't get caught up in the little things. Your day will go by so fast. At least a few times during the day stop and try to take it all in so it's not all a complete blur.

I've written out names for six of eight tables of escort cards (just my coworkers and the head table to go), made and send a rough wedding timeline to most people that need it, grabbed a couple necklaces from my parents' house to try them day of and see if I think they work with my dress, and my mom put some green ribbon on the cake cutters she and my dad used for their wedding.

We had our last dance class this morning and our third and final banns were in my church bulletin.

It's starting to actually feel real, and I feel like a mixed ball of excitement and anxiety. Despite talking and posting about it for the last eleven months, it always seemed so distant and someday. And now it's nearly here.

If the weather's like it was today (sunny and mid 40s) we'd be doing good. Hopefully. I'm watching and checking.
