My cat started to randomly limp after laying down recently so I took to the vet and got X-rays. They said there are signs of potential patellar luxation which is I guess where the knee sometimes isn't in the socket. Wondering if anyone here has a cat with that and can relate to the experience and how things went over time?
It's been a week since my visit and it's very strange to watch it in action. Most of the time he walks around fine, but sometimes after getting up from sleeping or laying down he will have a noticeable severe limp in one of his hind legs for a few steps, then just walk it out and be totally normal afterwards. I was thinking arthritis but they said it seems more to be this patellar luxation.
