Yes, Burdocks markings are- interesting? Not exactly stripes or spots, although there are those present. I suppose if I was really curious as to his ancestry, I could have one of those DNA tests done, but- naah he's Burdock, and that's good enough for me.tabbytom That’s a purrfect description! I live under a lovely mountain. The view is spectacular. Lol
N NY cat man
I just noticed that beautiful stripe down Butdocks tail! That’s another adorable feature. I suppose that’s the rudder during flight.
Furballsmom Boatloads would be great! Dry would be different this year. Everything around here squishes when you walk. The kitties refuse to get squishy. Smart kitties!

@Loving Mickey Bravo to you for being so courageous and learning to give the fluids and to Mittens for being so sweet and cooperative. You are gaining quality time and no one can ever give you a real prediction on these things. Sarah blew all predictions by the wayside! Every time! Outlived everything by many, many years. Please keep that in mind. Love and hope can carry all living things far past our expectations no matter what anyone says. I’m always grateful for that. Thank you for kind thoughts about Sarah. She brought light into my world and it still shines for me. The only word needed is love. It’s something we can all share together.
A spot for Wanda Heart?
She’s going to love hearing that! I was very surprised to add a little one to the Clowder at this late date but I’m very glad she came. That is a very sweet and engaging girl. She’s made the older girls remember how to play. I did hope to find her a home of her own but perhaps she was meant to stay with the girls. She makes them laugh! (Me too.)
Around here the favorite cat tree seems to be me! This is a young Tortie on the people tree. LolView attachment 323370
@CatLover49 Agreed about January and about Snowball! Truly beautiful!’
tarasgirl06 It sounds like you have learned how to play HopsCATch! Good talent to have!
Mamanyt1953 Oh boy! We both enjoy building whole miniature scenes? I’ll start building here , you start there and I’ll meet you in the middle. I think a few others could come in from the other directions. I built a village that really started as a joke. Selling orchidsmeant I often heard, “ I can’t grown anything. I have a brown thumb.” Okay. I started making miniature orchid sculptures and have them out to anyone making that statement. That left to a greenhouse. I was involved in preserving orchids and doing shows for orchid societies so, I built an orchid village. The whole thing ended up being fun for me and others. Each year I added a 2’ sq. Section to the village. When it was 14’ long and took two van trips to haul it, I quit building. It had a working waterfall in the very last section. Yep! We need to start a cat village! A bit larger scale, of course!
Since I can’t clone myself, I need volunteer laps! Any takers? That comes with purrks! .
Elvis is too smart for his own good. I have to feed Baby Su in her room and close the door. Elvis knows that if he stand on his hind legs and pushes the doorknob, the door will open and he'll be able to peruse her food and treat selections. He doesn't stop there, of course. I'm constantly running interference on him. Poor Baby Su!The sun came out this afternoon. It’s going to freeze later and rain again in a couple of days. Time to go outside!
Lady has been anxious for a walk. I guess I should have prepared her. Lol She definitely won’t be going far!
It’s about time we visited the garden!

Cats are so smart. Not only can Lady get her hooman to fluff and dry, she understands how the door latch and door lock work! I didn’t know she had her own set of keys. I guess Banjo had a set made for everyone.
Banjo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What makes you think it was me?

Have a great night everyone!!
Awww.... Lady. Such a beauty.Lady has been anxious for a walk. I guess I should have prepared her. Lol She definitely won’t be going far!
Don't we all feel that way about our furbabies?Lady is GORGEOUS! Not that the rest of the aren't, but you know how I am about calicos, torties, torbies, and calibies (?)!
Hekitty is RUSTING! It's her age, I guess. When she was younger, her fur was a dark, rich burnt orange and a black so deep you could fall into it. Now, she's mostly...rust colored and black, but it's a more faded black. It doesn't feel like you could put your finger on a black spot and fall into another dimension anymore. But she's still the most beautiful girl in the world in my eyes!
That sounds like heaven.catch falling kitty stars
I hope so.Love and hope can carry all living things far past our expectations
I've been doing that lately, try to approach everything with love. The only word needed is love.
That was a nice surprise, seeing a post dedicated to Lady.Lady has been anxious for a walk.
You chose the right name for sure, when you named her Lady.
Oh, look at all those robins! Getting ready to head back my way. That means spring is coming. When I went to pick it up, I was met by a huge flock of migrating birds. They were all looking for nourishment for the flight. I could not leave without helping out. I bought a large bag of wild bird seed and put it on the grassy median for them. As soon as I put the first seed out they flew down beside me. I had to divide the seed on several medians because they covered the ground. I was glad I could give them a little to eat. They were all beautiful birds. Safe travels birdies!!
This is not necessarily age-related and not confined only to cats. My hair is black, but a "rusty" black -- and in the sun, it turns a reddish color that you've probably seen in photos of people around the world who have this condition, whatever it may be. Sometimes it is associated with malnutrition and as I did not like to eat as a kid, it may be that in me as well? Black Siamese (black cats with some Siamese genes, often a Siamese mom and a black father) have the same thing. The deep black is most beautiful, but to me, all cats are beautiful/handsome!Lady is GORGEOUS! Not that the rest of the aren't, but you know how I am about calicos, torties, torbies, and calibies (?)!

Picture was taken with my new camera, so happy with the results. Especially since it was taken through the window, and the robins were in my neighbour's yard. I don't have a long zoom lens, but was able to crop the pic without it getting too grainy. That could so easily be a card, rubysmama.
Absolutely gorgeous! I'm no pro photographer but I know what I like and I love beauty.Picture was taken with my new camera, so happy with the results. The world will be jam (as in traffic jam) and you can't get anywhere..........................ok, not funny.............Oh Lord, what would the world be like without peanut butter?
LOL. There wouldn't have been much left for you, if Banjo had put out the call for all the kitties.I have a taste of it for you too Banjo but please don’t call all the kitties!
Oh no. Just a thought ... weren't you on antibiotics lately? If so, maybe some probiotics might help. If not, at least there's lots of gluten free foods now. But, generally, they're more expensive than the choices with gluten.I am trying something new myself! Gluten free. Lol It seems I may have a sensitivity. Nooooooo! I love to bake yummy yeast bread from an old recipe. I actually like all the gluten free foods I have tried so far. Thank goodness my peanut butter is safe!
