That's how the TNR I got Lelia from does it. They socialize kittens and friendly seeming adults, but most just have to go back to their colony because of resources. They do have a "working cat" program where cats can become warehouse or barn workers, getting some shelter and food for their mousing skills, but not a full home.I think there is just a lack of resources to tame feral cats, and the rescues have to spend their time on the easy to tame ones, like young kittens. At least that is how it is in Houston. There are way too many cats and not enough volunteers to help them. But saying they can not be tamed is not true, although they may not be the cuddly lap cat most adopters want. I know that if people gave my unadoptable's a chance, they would come to love them.
Is it a movie? The Hallmark channel has a special on called ,” The Nine Lives of Christmas”.
I love sappy Christmas movies, but never seem to find them on TV. Since this one is online and involves cats, it sounds like a purr-fect movie for me and Ruby to snuggle up and watch some night soon. It’s a really sweet movie that involves a couple of kitties. I was watching it on TV but missed the last half. Found it online and watched it all. I rarely watch TV or movies. Just don’t have the time but the start with the kitties got me hooked. Nice and family friendly. The main cat made me laugh. I think you would like it.
Feel better soon.I have a cold that is kicking my butt.
Ha! I do that with my cats too, I tell each one that they're my favorite. Of course, I do that with people too. When a kitty jumps in my lap and I am giving them some love, I say "you are the best kitty in the whole wide world". Then I look around and see the other cats looking at me, oops they heard that!
And deserved every word of it.They posted something similar on their Facebook page saying that "Feral cats do not want to live with people." They got a lot of angry replies from people saying that just is not true!
