My Feral And Rescued Cats

Last night was very wet! I stayed up late moving my van to safer places. It survived. Five inches of rain on top of saturated ground.
Mackie was pretty relaxed last night so I much of the night with the more anxious kitties.
Covered in kitties through the storm. BJ, Kodiak and Thrasher were at my feet. They slept soundly after I laid down with them. They still remember what storms are like for a
Feral kitty.

The flood water stopped at the beginning edge of Sarahs garden.

The levels were much higher than last time but I discovered a damaged culvert. The state DOT said they wil come next week.

I can see the reflected sky in my yard!

The dark lines inside the circles are fish! They are grooming my grass and swimming across the asphalt of my driveway. Lol Hey little fishies! Thanks for visiting!

The water went down a little bit later in the day. Lady was anxious to go out.

Until she saw the water!

Fish under me?!?!? No!

I don’t see my scratching out root!

This is not my Garden! Mud! Yuck!

She did find a nice big cat tree though. It had some sun too. It’s all about using what we have and being grateful.

We found an absolutely perfect Gardenia bloom!

We kept all paws dry! We are happy!

Thank you! Sometimes my eyes and the camera coordinate. Lol That bloom had opened perfectly oriented to the light. No shifting of petals to chase the sun as they so often do.

I’m even grateful for typos! I do the best I can and spell check does the rest! A good laugh is a good feeling.

I left the house for longer than usual today. I went to help the family of the friend I lost recently. It was a sunny day and I went to help with the orchids and plants that she grew in her greenhouse. I got to revisit the place she and I spent happy times together and even saw plants that I had rescued in another country and shared with her. I also saw the parents of plants that she had shared with me. The visit with her family was very, very nice. I plan to have them come here for more plant divisions to replace things that were gone and to go back for lots of repotting soon. I think my friend would have been pleased about the day and that her cherished pants are being cared for. I wore my TCS shirt and talked about the site as well as the kitties. It was a good day for caring, sharing positive memories and catching up with the family.
When I returned home, well, you be the judge! I’ll save some of the photos for later or this would be a VERY long download! Even so, it’s not short but the END should make you and then.

I understand cat speak and I think everyone will get this message!

And I did! The next time I have to leave the kitties that long, I’m coming in with treats on top of my head. Maybe that way I’ll get the better End of the deal!

rubysmama I got the “look!” I was in kitty disapproval land! Lol They did forgive me though. Kitties are great that way. I took my licking with a smile so... the kitties all laughed and we moved on.

Back again! My computer was INFESTED with malware (I typed "maleware" twice before I got it right, which is a whole separate issue)! Thankfully, Spawn 1 is a tech person (tech supervisor, actually). He insisted that I install Team Viewer when he bought me this computer, so he could access it remotely and undo anything I did in my ignorance and other such things. I'd have been back sooner, but work calls are running him ragged right now. He says that the phone rings every 3 minutes with "HELP! My conference call starts in 20 minutes, and (insert name of conferencing platform here) program won't load!" This drastic uptake in work-from-home is going to either kill him or make him rich!

Yea, all my stuffs and photos are in there. Was using it regularly and yesterday it just stopped moving. So today I took it in and repairs estimated $700 not including diagnostic tests Repairs will take 5-7 days and will see if I’ll continue with the repair when the quotes come in
