Okay. I just cracked up looking at all the stuffed animals. Did you see the Mama pig with piglets? :flail:@tarasgirl06 Thank you for the link to laughter! The only problem is that I love them all!

Hmmm. Glitch is back. Night time bug?
Maybe. Or too much traffic on the internet. Or sunspots. Or...???
I have a cursing squirrel outside my office window right now.
And even though I washed my hands, I still smell like rancid cat food. :gaah:
Really glad you enjoyed those! I wanted to get all the big cats.

Might be too much load on the Internet. It’s still be investigated. New help is coming though!

I spent today trying to figure out a problem with the portable AC. I spent time talking to both the Living Good company that made the unit and Home Depot, where it was purchased. I just wanted to say how kind and helpful the LG reps were. They not only helped me with the issue, they are shipping a part! The other place offered no assistance which left me even more grateful to the LG company. :clap2:In this heat, we really need that unit to function at optimum. The rep took into consideration the problems I have with vision issues and walked me through all I needed to know instead of just texting me the info. Much easier for me than reading small print! Before the call was over I was also able to invite the young lady to join us here at TCS. I hope she will.

Today the air was off. Yeah! Hot! The cats let me know what they thought about it too!

Fix it!

It’s nice and cool this morning! Yay! It looks like posting is going well too!!:bunnydance:
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day! :heartshape:
No wonder the clowder were disgruntled. We have little patience with hot weather, either.
So glad the call went well, the unit is functioning, and the rep got an invite to TCS! Yes, the more members the merrier!

Today has to be a Banjo and Whistle day. Their confidence has grown so much since their time in Florida. Whistle can still get nervous about certain things but when the house is settled and Mom is busy, they are content here with each other. :kitty:

Here is what I was thinking and what I think the kitties were thinking.

Awww! Such good siblings taking care of each other while Mom was busy!

A relaxed day with Banjo washing Whistle with kisses.

The shared affection is always heart warming.
View attachment 302145
Whistle always returns the kisses.
View attachment 302146
Now Banjo is enjoying it too.

My sweet kitties!
View attachment 302148
Whoa. I should have put all the groceries away.
View attachment 302149
It wasn’t the Whistle!
View attachment 302150
Why’d you leave Whistle?
View attachment 302151
We were having fun!
View attachment 302152
I like this!
View attachment 302153
Wheee! Confetti!
View attachment 302154
Heh heh! Look Whistle! Paper hat! Come back. Mom will never know.
View attachment 302156
Uh oh. Mom is here, isn’t she?
View attachment 302155
:flail:Whistle left Banjo to take the blame! Smart boy! He gave me such an innocent look before darting off. Fortunately they made Mom laugh! Banjo tossing the shredded paper towel and having it land on her head was so funny! She just looked like she was laughing and having so much fun, I couldn’t blame them for enjoying the play. I can replace the paper towels but I can never find another Banjo and Whistle! :redheartpump::redheartpump:

I hope you all smiled as much as I did.
Have a great night and enjoy your kitties, even when they are being, “ creative!”

That looks familiar!

tarasgirl06 tarasgirl06 I think that the eyes have it on the ostrich! I love the eyelashes as well as the rest of the bird. Tortoiseshell and ostrich go well together. :yess:
I wonder what Wanda Heart would think of that!
It would be interesting to get her input, wouldn't it? Oona Ostrich is rather tall, so Wanda might be a little bit intimidated by her height and her bit eyes.

A arethas mom  Yes! Very familiar. My kitties love toilet paper and paper towels. There’s just something fun about making confetti! They think I buy it just for them.

rubysmama rubysmama The cats said they will all work together to blow a warm breeze your way! They will gladly send it. Of course, you realize that is well above 90 and there is drought that even has the poor trees turning brown. We are hoping for rain soon. I am still providing water to the wildlife. We had new visitors today! I was gone all day to a doctor appointment and as soon as I returned I refilled the water dishes. A few hours later I discovered that my water was out. Hmmmm. The water table here is high and the pump is deep soooo...
I got my neighbor to meet me outside. We discovered the Carpenter ants were thirsty too. The shorted out the switches on the pump. They had a huge nest there. We managed to clean the switches and I have water again but I don’t know if the ants will return. I am going to try leading them away by providing them with a nice damp place to go, away from the main part of the property. I hope it works!

tarasgirl06 tarasgirl06 I have a feeling Wanda Heart would love Oona. The eyelashes make her look very sweet and she already has a kitty cuddling her. :lovecat3:

When I returned from town today it was the time I normally give the birdies a little shower time. The friend that drove me is aware of my watering routine. She noticed as we got out of the car and were chatting that birds started gathering in the trees around us. Lol Cardinals, Tufted Titmice, Blue Jays, some type of Finch, the Little Carolina wrens and one woodpecker. Lol They were all chirping away. I think I was being told to turn on the shower! As soon as I did the birds lit in the spray or got in the puddles to splash around. My friend and I enjoyed watching the show. I am sure the kitties were all at the windows too.

After a long day and then a long evening of working to figure out the pump problem and clear the ants, I came inside to give the kitties their time. I was greeted by happy cat faces. It’s so great to be welcomed home that way. I am always grateful for the kitties. I finally came in from the cat room with Banjo and Whistle right behind me. I sat down and noticed, they stayed at the door. ????????

Don’t tell me that I let Froggie, or something else in! What’s moving?

Oh! :flail:The old hook latch was swinging back and forth.
4D68B180-4124-488F-AEE0-1DC9C4211A25.jpeg

It doesn’t take much to amuse a kitty or two! I may tie a string on that to make it wiggle when I want to be on the phone! New toy! :yess: As long as I kept it swinging, they watched. :flail:I don’t need TV. I have kitties to watch. Waaaaay better!:dizzycat::climbcat::runningcat::purr::cutecat::gingercat::gingercat2::dancingblackcat::geekcat::catman:

Have a great night everyone! Hopefully, with water for all! :heartshape:

Not too interested in the drought, as we need rain too. But I will gladly take those 90 degree temps. But you'll keep all your creepy crawlers, right? Except maybe the skink. He doesn't bite, does he? He probably won't like snow, though. But then I won't have any snow with your 90 degree temps.

Yikes! Sounds like deja vu. Please make sure they don't tag along when you send me the warm temps.

Graceful-Lily Graceful-Lily :welcomesign: They are cute, aren't they? I have a houseful of Mom's plushies plus a few of mine and some my friend next door gave me. One of Mom's is this guy:

*Angel Sishya and "friend"*:hearthrob:

Jcatbird Jcatbird We had carpenter ants in the Mojave but they never bothered anything. We'd see their hills in the sand. They were the friendliest of the ants, because they didn't sting or bite like the fire ants and they didn't come inside like the sugar ants that got into my almonds and my coconut in my cupboard :sigh:
That's a pretty good new toy -- and it's so true! Cats can show us how to enjoy the simplest things in life.
Miss Muffin is gorgeous!
Tarifa would probably love Wanda right away. That's how she is -- sweet, social, and friendly. I don't think she's ever met anyone she hasn't liked.:heartshape:
