My guess is because it's donations only. The only donations are dry food. So they want to be sure the kitten will eat kibble because that's all they're getting.

This Is The Syringe I Use To Feed Him. I Use The Bottle For The Stronger Kitten.
He Eats About 5-8 Full Syringe Needless Of Course. Is That Too Much?
I Am Going To Try To Give The Stronger Kitten Kibbles Or Wet Food.

No, it's not too much. I actually doubt if it's enough. Does he seem full?

I really think you need to give both of them wet food.

I feed him until he pushes the syringe away. Right now he lasted until 10 tubes. I don't think it is a good idea to start feeding him wet food he has a problem drinking his formula sometimes. Since he did get attacked by the mother with 3 bites two on neck and one near ear. Yesterday or the day before he could only eat about two tubes he has improved a lot. Also could lift his head more. I will feed the kitten who is able to walk wet food.

If you feel the kitten is not ready or is unable to eat wet food quite yet, then hold off.

Did you try though? Is either kitten interested?

Could it be possible that my kitten is teething? He opens his mouth and rubs his gums roughly. Also tries biting his sleeping basket and kitten bottle. He tries to bite my finger too.

Oh yes! That's definitely teething behavior.

I'm glad they like the wet food. It's good for them! :)

How are the kittens doing today?
Very Sorry For The Late Response. They Are Doing Great. Kitten Who Can't Walk Could Now Put His Head Up. Also Is Able To Climb The Couch. He Loves To Play And Sleep With Me. Next Kitten Is A Sweetheart. Also Loves To Be Held And Loves Following Me Around The House. Also First Kitten Eats Much More Than Before. Next Kitten Always Loves To Eat. Thank You For Asking! Also Soon I Will Submit Pictures Of Them.

How sweet! Are they healthy now?
Both Of Them Got A Eye Infection On One Eye. So I Am Going To Take Them To The Vet For That. But After All That They Are Healthy Babies Thankfully.

Good to hear! Do you have terramycin on hand from your other cats? When do you see the vet?

Where do you think?
Doesn't surprise me. Feline herpes is going around now. Don't worry, it's just like a cold and is not zoonotic. Vet will give you some meds to treat it.

All kittens I have found have had eye infection so I would put ointment on them. terramycin actually helped a kitten who had serve infection who looked blind.
