That was good.
donnae -
Oz says he would love to come -
But he'll have to bring his Mum;
Two together, from the start,
Never fifty feet apart.
White tip says, "okay with me-a,
Long as I can bring Clawed-ya,"
They're becoming pals, belated -
It's a cinch that they're related.
Clawed-ya won't go anywhere
If her Momma isn't there;
She says that she's not a dunce,
Friday almost lost her once.
Friday says she'll come as well,
Just as long as she can tell
Her pal Bob he's coming too -
Bob says, "if there's stuff to chew,
Lots of things on which to feed,"
He'll be there at lightning speed,
But he'll only come at that,
If he brings his Scottiecat.
Scottiecat says, "I'll be there,
I'll scratch moulding anywhere!"
But she adds, "it would be tough
For me to leave my dear Friend Puff."
Puff says he will take a chance,
But he wants his good pal Lance
There beside him when they go,
Just in case he's feeling low.
Lance is just the sweetest thing,
He'll be twenty-one this Spring,
And his Friend Peanut has to come -
Or he would just as well stay home.
Peanut's happy just to sleep
In the sunlight, strong and deep,
But, of late, a Friend he's made -
Little Miro's now his shade.
Little Miro doesn't mind
Just as long as she's behind
Her Friend and Protector too,
Darling, sweetheart, dear Moo Shu.
Moo Shu says that Kitkat Jack
Will just love her sneak-attack;
She'll ride him around the room,
Like a witch on a furry broom.
And she says that Major Tom
Will adore the Snowshoe Bomb;
Dropping like a ton of lead,
To land upon his fuzzy head!
She'll be there with all her things -
Jingle Balls and milk jug rings,
Mousies with RealSqueak in them
(These are best at 4 AM);
Clatterballs and racket makers,
ChirpyBirds on birdie-shakers,
All the things a Snowshoe needs -
Noisy strings of wooden beads,
Chirping Cricket (very bad) -
That alone will drive you mad!
Ping pong balls and croak-frog too,
All the things to torment you.
So here ends this little rhyme,
I guess the cats are safe this time;
When next you beseech Bast or Ishtore,
Be very careful what you wish for!
