For those who don't know Buddy's story, he was homeless on the streets found at 5 weeks old.
I took him in and do not spoil him at all.
Just made him his own gardens of greens to nibble on today. Think I'm going to get some small stones to top dress the soil.

What a great thread! I'll have to keep checking back for all the DIY inspo. One of my favorite ideas (I think it was posted by @basscat on another thread,) was this super-simple cat tree from a ladder:

Signs I put up at the trail-head and forks when out hiking with Buddy.
Backpack Mod.
Earlier last week I made a mod to his backpack to more quickly and easily get the pack off my back.
Before to fully remove the pack I would have to let go of the leash by switching hands.
Now I placed a buckle on one of the shoulder straps. I can unclip the buckle and remove the pack without ever having to worry about the leash.
