there was an instant that I used to get YEARS ago in Louisiana, might have been Community (with chicory). Once I finally figured out exactly how much to use, it was quite sippable.
I do when I’m sick and tired of cleaning out the French press & the grinder & taking the used grounds in my jammies and a headlamp at night to the compost pile.
Dark roast black coffee this morning and an Americano at the new coffee shop we discovered. It's family owned and so nice that when we go there they remember us. It adds a personal touch and is cheaper than any of the chains, e.g. Starbucks.
My usual dark roast with breakfast. DH had a free reward at SB and let me use it so I got a grande flat white w/oat milk & cinnamon. I wouldn't have bought it but for free, no problem!
I made a coffee pod run to Sams Club this morning. I could probably have gone another week without running out but running low on coffee makes me anxious. Good for another fifty some days now.
I'm re-reading Laura Child's Tea Shop Mystery series. And getting antsy to start drinking interesting teas. Perhaps Santa will bring me tea pods for the Keurig!
I poured my second cup before I brought J to school at 9. Forgot it existed until I was home later after shopping and doing some chores, like 11:30. I just ended up drinking it cold.
Good grief...my neighbor drinks decaf made so weak that you could read a newspaper through it...or until she adds the Sweet N Low and soy milk. I suggested that hot water would be cheaper. She was not amused.
I decided a needed a treat for myself, since things have been so bad..
Stopped at SB on the way home for an extra hot Chai Latte, made with almond milk and a ham & cheese croissant.
I needed something good...
