I have never had a cat with rectal prolapse, but it is exactly what I picture happening. If they want to do an enema after the xrays, as opposed to redoing the stitch, ask very specifically why that will be the remedy because an enema may work, but back to what J Jabzilla said, it doesn't go beyond the problem with the suture. So will this be a repetitive occurrence? His sutures are clearly too tight. Just because the vet can put a finger through them doesn’t mean the sutures aren’t the problem. He likely has a larger piece of poop that is unable to get past them, while the feces that’s able to exit is the soft stuff that can ooze around it.
This is not the point. Anyone receiving any medical care has a right to expect that things will be done correctly. Even if this were 100% free, it would not mean that anyone should expect bad care.I can't afford anywhere ejse.
