Hi!
My husband and I adopted our cat Holly when she was 5-6 months old in 2019 (3 years ago). Her cerebellar hypoplasia its not mild but its not severe (she doesnt need help eating or going to the bathroom) Im hoping someone can offer some advise on how we can help our girl be as comfortable...
...that he pretty much falls over almost everytime that he looks straight up. I've been doing a lot of lresearch and I think he may have Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). Is there anyone on here who has experience with this and can tell me if it seems like he may have it? I've tried uploading a video...
I'm considering adopting 2 kittens with CH. 1 has a more mild-moderate form and can get around pretty well; the other is more severe and right now at 7-8 weeks mostly drags herself with her front legs and isn't able to stand up very well or walk around easily.
I had a cat with CH for 14 years...
Does anyone have experience or a cat with this? Adopting one tomorrow. He’s 1 of 4 kittens to have it. Owner says he uses low lying cat boxes and can manage his way around!!
Thanks
...I just recently adopted two 7 week old kittens, brothers whom I've named Weeble and Fry, and I am pretty sure little Weeble was born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia. He has a difficult time keeping his balance, but he can stand upright at times and can even chase after his brother for a few feet...
...gave the kittens therapy so they could walk, not well, but well enough to go to the litter box and food/water dishes easily. The vet said Cerebellar Hypoplasia with no MRIs or other tests, as those are quite expensive. I don't blame him that much. They seemed like CH kittens in every way...
...to use the litter box, and get food and water just fine. The shaking progressed, so off to the vet we went. He diagnosed her as having Cerebellar Hypoplasia. He said she would never get better, but would not get worse either. He also mentioned that she had to be a house cat from now on...
Hello, my beautiful kitten has mild CH. She was a wobbly kitten and now it is more of a mild tremor when she is staring at something intently. She is normal in every way and I love her even more because she is special. One thing I wanted to mention is in regards to her nail trim today. Our...
This is my amazing cat Fernando who has cerebellar hypoplasia. That's me with him in the first pic, and he and his friend Charlie in the second pic.
Just wondering if any of you guys have cerebellar hypoplasia cats and if you have any tips and tricks to share. My Fernando's CH is so severe...
We have a colony of ferals outside besides our 3 indoor cats. We try to grab and fix them all, but occasionally one or two get missed. 2 months ago one of the females had a litter of 3. 2 of them are fine, but one had trouble walking, would fall over constantly, her head shakes sometimes but...
...dont want to leave them all together when im not in the house. im wondering if anyone has had this problem, even with cats that dont have cerebellar hypoplasia. he was never an agressive kitty, even when my cats would mess with him hed sort of just give in and let them mess with him. i guess...
...is the black cat. He’s jaguar-like in his looks, very handsome but a little skittish. The white kittens all have a neurological problem—cerebellar hypoplasia or CH.
What is cerebellar hypoplasia? The cerebellum is the part of the brain that works with balance, coordination and control of...
Apperently back when we had the "feline distemper" running rampant, Doll was pregnant and the vet didn't know. She had a litter of 4 but only one survived.
His name is Vicious and he's our wobble kitty. He has a heart and purrsonality of gold!! Vish has only one eye open and has a cornea ulcer...
One of the two kittens I'm looking to adopt has had some tremors, and after being taken to the vet, they think it might be cerebellar hypoplasia. Now, I'm not that familair with the disease, but I have seen youtube videos of it and this kitten doesn't seem the same. Granted I've only seen the...
Just wondering if anyone out there has a kitten or an adult diagnosed with Cerebellar Hypoplasia?
I am fostering a kitten approximately 6-weeks in age (I've had him since he was 3-weeks) that was born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia. Ari was brought in emaciated, covered with fleas and shaking...
I would like you all of you to meet my adoreable sweet Amy. She has Cerebellar Hypoplasia and is going on 4 years old. I have had her since she was 2 months. I got her out of a crowded cage at a pet store one Saturday and fell in love so I brought her home and realized something was wrong with...
I am desperately trying to find a beautiful little kitten with Cerebellar Hypoplasia a home. I found this kitten outside my house with some others and the mom cat. He seemed to be the 'runt' of the group. I picked him up and took him to the vet, he tested negative for lukiema. Since the little...
