When do u go back to the vet? If it's a yeast infection they tend to lick it a lot usually.

He doesn't lick it at all. He just acts normally, but then again he can't use his hind legs to scratch himself in case he is itchy. In any case I am still applying the medication he was prescribed, but since he is going back to therapy this Tuesday, it wouldn't hurt to ask the vet again.

That’s true about how sensitive the tongue actually is about just one cat hair. Now that I’m at home, a LOT older and have 7 inside, hair city. Also I find myself green with envy over people who have dark clothes. Since when I’m in dark clothing everybody says to me oh, I see you have cats! So nothing but lights and whites for the last ———Years.

So I made myself a promise for a new black suit, at least the top half, when I exit this life. Enuf said.

Feten, have a blessed day!

It could also just be dry, flaky skin and nothing more. Since Feten is black, it really shows up.

Regarding cats in the bed, just move around and get yourself comfortable - the cats will readjust around you. At least that's what my 7 cats do! :)

Oh no! I know better than to move my cats once they are in place on the bed... moving them results in them jumping off the bed and walking away offended by my insolence :p. Then, of course, I feel like the worst person alive for making them get off the bed.

I wish mine would do that! I wake up several times a night, numb from the neck down and have to push a few of them off the bed. They just wait until I drop off again and then climb back on.

Norachan Norachan , I wonder how many of us here sleep uncomfortably?... just for the sake of our furbabies! Tita and Gato are, once again, already asleep on my bed (maybe I should now say THEIR bed). We'll see if I can find a space for me to sleep in

Ah, the “bed wars”! What I would like to know is how you can have a 3500 sq ft house, 3 bedrooms and 4 cats roaming the interior. You fluff your pillow, pull back the covers, and before you lay back their everywhere on the bed. We call it a “bed pheromone”. I mean it’s so bad that we will be sitting in the living room and look at each other, say “ let’s go see what’s on TV.....but then sit there because we know they will come and crowd us out!

trudy1 trudy1 , that is so true! For me, putting on my pajamas is like a signal for my cats and dogs to go crowd the bed :D

Oh, and guess who is patient of the month at the vet's? Fetén's vet has started putting up a bulletin board with the "patient of the month" and the first one to be selected is, naturally, Fetén!

He is making great progress. He has better control of his hind legs, and has even started moving them back and forth. Still dragging them on the floor, but is now actually using them to propel himself, instead of just dragging them along. We are now practicing a new exercise at home, where I hold him up with a towel around his tummy and follow him as he "walks" around. This is supposed to help improve his proprioception and it just fills us with hope to see him improve.

We have also been battling what appears to be a fungal infection that took up residence all over his body, around the ears, under his eyes, all over his tail and hind legs.... just everywhere! But he is also getting MUCH MUCH better, it is almost gone now.

I don't have any info -- -just that when I looked Feten, the member who told the little kitten's story was @nahui ---looks like no postings/answering since March 6. But you could at least send him a note at @nahu to tell him you're worried!
