Thanks a lot!
In fact, they have already met as I write this.
As I said above I would not be able to afford the attention required for the separation process. I know it may seem simple, but it's not cuz Tiger would not rest before he saw and tested her. So it'd require me to pay a lotta...
Hi there,
It's been years since I last posted here. I hope y'all doing amazing!
So I got two cats: Tiger (4 yrs) and Max (3 yrs). And, I've had them all their life, and Tiger has been the king of the house ever since he started living in it.
Today, I found this little kitten (perhaps 4 months...
I have six litter boxes, 2xlarge-2xmedium-2xsmall. I clean them every other day, but Tiger seems to be germaphobic sometimes xD. I have Max (1.5 years), he has never ever meowed because the litter box is not clean, so had all cats that I had.
I think it is the attention thing, though...
Hi everyone,
It's been a while, hope y'all doing well.
The issue is simple, yet I have no idea how to modify this behavior.
Tiger, 2 years old, I've had him since he was 1 month old, he's my baby and we've been through a lot together.
But recently (in the past year), he developed this strange...
I'll tell you my experience when I was thinking like that,
I let Tiger 'male 9 months old' going outside and enjoying himself because I knew that what he wanted, and I let him go outside as long as he wanted, after a short while everything indoor was irrelevant to him, including me, he would not...
yeah, turned out he must have what he wants so he eats what I want,
I gave him little kibble on top of his food on last meal and ate it all
thank u guys
I think problem is solved
I have Royal Canin kibble, that's the one Max is crazy about.
The problem with commercial canned food that it is made to make it super tempting for cats with a strong scent, I think this will lead Max to stop eating raw food completely, since it's not as delicious nor having as an appealing...
Hi, hope y'all doing fabulous,
I've had Max (3-4 months old) for like 2 months now, he was 2 months old back then
I recently began to notice he doesn't eat the raw food as he supposed to, unlike my old kitten Tiger,
I had to throw away a lot of food that I paid for xd
recently I started to...
forgot a fundamental and basic tip:
let them play with you being around as much as possible, get some toys and play with them
that is the magic pill for bonding with a new cat
it is totally normal behavior especially for kittens in a new environment.
all you need to do now is just waiting no more no less, they will decide to approach when they declare you as no threat, it might take a week or a month or even longer, but it's okay I have had a kitten once who'd run...
the simple solution I used when I had the same issue, is shaving their 'bathroom' area,
was the older kitten taking out of the box litter with his hair every time, and the younger was carrying more than litter xd
when I shaved their butt hair It worked out very well.
yeah I don't think It's possible, he'd go crazy the second he gets his head out of the crate, it's not feasible so he might need to have all the time inside
