We have been back for a month and I can't exactly tell when the started peeing in between the cushions as I only just noticed today. From the current wet spot and a little darker spot behind I am thinking maybe one week? The boarding place has individual rooms with litter etc. in their own rooms...
Thanks for the response.
He has been meowing a lot more at the door, which started before we left for our trip too, so I think a new kitty must have moved in somewhere in the condo. I know a new dog moved in down the hall but wouldn't think that is the concern.
Not crying in pain when he pees...
I will be making a vet appointment to check for UTI.
But thought I would check in to see if anyone else has experienced this change in behaviour after a long trip. We left Charlie for 1 month at a cat boarding place where he had lots of time to play with kitties and go out on a catio (enclosed...
Vet gave him an enthusiastic clean bill of health, so not yowling cause of any medical issues. Must be the new doggies down the hall. Just hoping he doesn't yowl non stop when we are away from the condo :ohwell:
Thanks everyone for the insight. I know there is another kitty two doors down, however that cat has always been there and Charlie has not cared or yowled at the door until the past couple weeks, so not sure if that's the culprit. I do think maybe someone moved in with a dog down the hall, so...
My ex-feral kitty, indoor, approx 2.5 years old, neutered, has started this new thing where he just sits at our front condo door yowling at the top of his little kitty lungs and claw at the door like he wants out. He never used to do this before and when we open/close the door he does not try to...
Our almost 2 year old rescue male kitty has started nipping at us when he wants attention and we are not giving it to him. He gets tons of interactive playtime and cuddles, so I don't know how much more attention we can give! He has lots of toys to play with alone as well. He has also recently...
As the title says, looking for suggestions for a harness that is strong and won't slip off our kitty when we take him out into the woods for walks!
Anyone have a puppia harness? This is what I am thinking of getting.
Hey! My kitty does the same thing when he wants to play. He doesn't do it at night yet, but if I am trying to do something during the day and he isnt getting his mousey thrown for him.. then he will let me know via a gentle chomp. I havent figured out how to alleviate the issue.. so I am...
Thanks @Margret and @kirathecat ! It was after flailing around in zoomies mode that i noticed his ears were warm so must just be from that. I will keep an eye on it though!
Why does my kitty have warm ears? From a search online, it suggests he has a fever but he has no other signs of this as he is playing non stop, eating/drinking fine, etc. I also saw that it could mean he is stressed.. but I am not sure how this is possible cause we spoil the little guy!
thoughts?
Thanks everyone. I guess I was just worried that he was eating it.. but I keep finding the pieces all over the floor so I dont think he is eating the box! Just makes for a messy clean up.. lol
New male rescue kitty (now with us for over a month!) has recently started ripping and chewing all cardboard he can find. He just finally discovered his cardboard scratching box I bought him a month ago and he wont stop chewing and ripping up the edges. I did a quick search about this and...
