I've been out all day at knitting group - scandalous neglect of poor kitties!

But it looks like she's forgiven me.

(I just realised this thread's been going over a year. I would never have thought it was that long!)

I hope it keeps on going. I don't have a kitty to share my knitting now, but am on the lookout for another. Meanwhile I am trying to fill the knitting time with online cat reading and viewing. The look on your cat's face is unbelieveable!!!!

I do hope you find another cat to share your life.

Daisy’s look is chin-rub bliss!

I love this!
A few mornings ago Lila came down the stairs with my yarn ball in her mouth, dragging my project and both needles behind her. YIKES. I don't know how she got it because it was way up on a shelf in my closet. 🙀
Cats can climb. And jump. And yarn is a temptation. It can also be lethal if they get it into their mouths. I also put my yarn/wips in something they can't get into.

Lila has never been built for climbing or jumping, yet, she managed to now. I put all my supplies safely on the top shelf of the closet with the door tightly shut.

We just never know what our cats can do, they are resourceful little critters. It occurred to me yesterday I've been putting my WIPS in a basket with a lid but, now that I think about it, I can easily see Austin pushing the cover off. So they will not be going in there anymore. It's like you have to stay one step ahead of them. He has managed to pull the top off one of the water fountains with his teeth. Water everywhere. I am guessing I need a different style fountain. One of my nicknames for Austin is PITA (Pain in the A--) .

I love the sweater and the model! I am in the process of looking for another cat and I guess my last cat spoiled ME! She was so laid back, so clean and tidy and never got into trouble! She would investigate, but never disturb things. Perhaps old age had a lot to do with it, I dunno. If she played with strands they had to be blue and I had to start the game. My plants were never disturbed either!
The only thing that got her going were felt mice and their tails.
