I envy that you are able to put decorations out all mine just end up on the floor.
Takes a day or two for the cats (mostly Gracie) to leave them alone. She tried to jump onto the mantel one night around midnight and knocked everything off. A swat to her butt cured her curiosity.

Susan is napping next to me on the sofa. We were on vacation without her for 10 days, and a friend came to visit her twice a day, but she didn't warm up to him as much as I'd hoped. Glad to return yesterday and she seems pretty happy we're back, too! I missed her so much. There's no better feeling than being reunited with your cat.

Lilith is napping on the floor in the cat room. She's using her catnip banana as a pillow.

Sophie is in her usual afternoon napping spot which is under the recliner. She's the only one who goes near it. I was planning on dragging it to the curb a while back because it's just taking up space. It's an old leather La-Z-Boy that DH and I got in the early 90's. It was his favorite chair. The arms open up. One had a touch tone phone in it and the other has a 6 pack sized cooler in it. DH had to have it.

She must be a mind reader because as soon as I started thinking about getting rid of it, that's when Sophie decided it was HERS and it was not going anywhere. I really think DH stopped by and told her she should use it so I wouldn't get rid of it. :flail:

She naps under it and on it. I have a soft blanket on the seat for when she decides to sleep there.

Not right now but earlier this morning...

Boone was running around the kitchen and living room after a bug instead of eating his breakfast. Once he caught, killed, and ate the bug, he went over and started in on his breakfast. Meanwhile, Gracie was all about her breakfast today and didn't even go over to see what Boone was doing.

Lilith is sleeping on a corner table next to the living room window. She loves that spot so I keep a soft blanket on it for her naps. Sophie uses it sometimes too. Sophie is sleeping under HER recliner in the living room. :dancingblackcat:
