Wow! Iris flicks out tiny pieces of food occasionally, but Sparkle takes it to an entirely different level!Eating. I don't know why I even bother putting Sparkle's food in a bowl when it's like this within a minute.
Another Chicagoan here and I can relate - I was driving home mid-morning when the skies opened up and it poured non-stop. I'm not a big fan of driving with loud thunder and the windshield wipers on high speed but made it home safely and didn't leave the house. Fortunately Carleton is not affected by storms, he just wanted to eat.Severe weather is likely in my area this afternoon and I'm trying to convince Scribbles that hunkering down in the bathroom is a good thing. She's not buying it.
We're supposed get a swath of 80+ mph winds tonight. Just praying the area doesn't lose power, no fun with over 90 degree temps and no air conditioning.Another Chicagoan here and I can relate - I was driving home mid-morning when the skies opened up and it poured non-stop. Of course! How else would you watch the rain come down?Amber sitting on a stuffed duck watching the the rain come down.
We got the storms you mentioned and lost power temporarily. Loud rumbles of thunder accompanied by lightning and very gusty winds. Sorry about you not having a/c since it was extremely hot and humid today. We're supposed get a swath of 80+ mph winds tonight.
