Pizza Hut isn't nearly as good as it used to be. Or maybe nostalgia makes me remember it as being better than it actually was. Either way, I prefer Casey's pizza over any other.

Ali scared the life out of me earlier. It was just about naptime and I needed the bathroom. She nurses to sleep and won't let me put her down for naps, so I needed to go before I got nap trapped. I put her in her little seat with some Gerber crunchies - cheese curls for babies - where she would be safe and Aedan couldn't try to pick her up. He tries and it's terrifying. I was gonna be gone for maybe 5 minutes.

So, I'm doing my business and scrolling on my phone and I half register a PSA about how choking can be silent so you should never leave a baby alone with food. I wash my hands and come back to Ali and she's face down on her little tray. I panicked - oh God, I killed my daughter oh no oh no - rush to her and grab her out, all prepared to do the baby heimlich, running over the steps in my mind. She whines, flutters her eyes, and snuggles into me to go back to sleep. Yep, she just passed out with a crunchy still in her hand. I'll never leave her alone with food again - my heart can't take it.

I grew up in a town where pizza was an art form. We get Domino’s because it’s affordable and delivers here. But its not my favorite. Its thicker than a lot of places and that’s nice. I do enjoy the thin pizza from several local places; but the best pizzas from home are thicker crusted. But the dough actually tastes good and the crusts are good and crunchy on the outside; soft inside. So almost bread. :yummy:

When I was was younger and we’d go home to visit we would call my Gram when we reached a certain town so she would know when to call and order pizza. I don’t think DH understands how I miss that tradition.

We have a place in town, just a bit more than a mile away that has excellent pizza. But the staff is so horrible I just can’t go there. They ignore you, tell you your pizza isn’t ready yet and then ten minutes late find it sitting on the counter. I really have to crave pizza to go there.

Too bad he cannot be fully socialized and adopted... sigh....
He could be, if Hekitty weren't such a little bad word that I can't say on TCS. He's quite willing to waltz right in the house. There would be mayhem.

Is there any possibility of you getting the vaccine? I know there are variants out there.
Should be shortly. Dr. D. thinks in March.

and larger items like: Water,
I've quite buying water, except for my hurricane stash. I did, however, buy a Pur pitcher and extra filters. They're kinda expensive, but I won't give Hekitty tap water. Our town has horrible water, so I needed a replacement for my elderly Britta. LOL, the filter wouldn't come out...AT ALL! So we're set for water, and I don't have to worry about where to put it!

They closed the Pizza Hut in the town my parents live in too. Not sure if it was because of COVID or because it's been going downhill badly for the last few years. My brother used to work there and says it was the new manager's fault but who knows. I agree that Casey's pizza is awesome (especially the breakfast pizza!), and Domino's is decent. My family usually gets Domino's just because there's always someone who wants wings or garlic bites or pasta or whatever and Casey's doesn't have those. When I was a teen Pizza Hut was the best and Domino's tasted like old tires, lol. So idk what happened to poor Pizza Hut.

I have been using Brita pitchers for years. I got tired of spending money and storing Polsan spring Water.. Plus, I broke my arm, so it was easier to get a pitcher.. Actually, I have 2 right now, because I use this water for the humidifiers, also.
I am always drinking water.
Geoffrey drink the Brita Water, only.. The pipes are so old in the building.

Hope you get the vaccine soon...

Too bad, there is not another neighbor who will help socialize Scamper...

I am kind of a pizza connoisseur.. There are pizza places on almost every corner, in my city.. Grew up with pizza every Saturday night.. Still searching for the 'perfect' pizza from my childhood!!

Our Imos pizza in St Louis has really gone down hill. They used to be so good but lately they have been like eating cardboard. But then I"m not a huge pizza lover so it doesn't bother me but Mom loves pizza.

Still trying to get someone to take me to urgent care. I won't go to ER because the only hospital near me was rude to my Mom 3 years ago when she was rushed there and she was severely neglected. The good hospital is farther away but there's too much black ice and all. I can't even get Amazon deliveries right now due to our weather but I ordered a bunch of Biofreeze. I don't see this pain going away soon and naturally I can't take meds thanks to psycho doctor in the 80s who thought I was his guinea pig. However I have to do what I can around here because Mom and I will be in horrible position. Pain and all. I should be used to it by now. Maybe I should monetize videos of that on YouTube lol I'm clumsy anyway with or without.

*sigh* Captain Jack just got stuck under my dresser. Woke up to him panicking, got him unstuck, only to have him try to squeeze right back under 🤦‍♂️
Aw, silly Captain jack. <3 My Persia loves cramming herself into tiny spaces, too. There is a tv stand that is just furniture in the bedroom, and I ended flipping it over so she cannot squeeze in there! it made me so nervous when she tried because she really has to squeeze to get out! She even made this little squeaking noise like she was stuck one time and it freaked me out.

Today was kind of a rough day. I'm neurotypical and have sensory sensitivities (not sure if it's sensory processing disorder- I haven't been diagnosed, but I definitely have sensory issues of some kind) and I was in sensory overload- basically, it means everything is insanely overwhelming and way too loud and way too much to handle... It's a horrible experience- for most of the day. I almost had a panic attack multiple times and just one unfortunate thing after another seemed to happen. I'm feeling better now, but it was a rough day for sure.
Sorry it was so rough. I can be very sensitive to different stimuli, too, especially noise, although it often leaves me feeling irritable vs. panic attacks. I don't know what led me to try this, but the last time I was traveling by airplane I wore my over the ear headphones at the airport. Most of the time I didn't even have music playing. It helped drown out a lot of noise, and it was like I was in a personal bubble of less stimulation and noise. Everything sounded muted. I'm often feel so drained by being in noisy, busy places, so I was surprised by how well I maintained energy throughout this trip even being surrounded by so many people and know the headphones really helped

I'm glad you are doing better now. It's not easy when overstimulated and it is hard to get away from stimuli. :heartshape:

Ali scared the life out of me earlier.
That sounds terrifying! So glad she is okay. That would have had my heart beating so fast, too!

What does it say about my life when I am excited that today’s mail will bring a new attachment for my vacuum cleaner? I have a Dyson cordless which is great except the motorized rollers on hardwood floors have a tendency to shoot particles across the room. So I just ordered a non motorized floor brush attachment for it. I think/hope I am really going to like it and should make the battery last longer too.

Terrified of what my Mom is going to do to me if she looks outside the basement door. I mean literally terrified and yet no help with her. Her relatives could care less and Alz org is out of ideas. I don't even get much sympathy. It's like "Tough luck. You deserve what you get" type of attitude from relatives. :(

Someone I have been friends with for over 10 years is upset with me about my constant worry over things. She said she likes me but doesn't want to talk so not sure how that works exactly. I gave her a month to cool down so I'm going to just send a quick text and email saying "I'm sorry. I"m working on my anxiety at the moment." If I don't hear back then I'll just assume she was too chicken to just tell me the truth. Wish me luck. I had a lot of great conversations with her otherwise.

If game misconduct game misconduct does not mind me answering.... please chime in..

A Wellness check is a yearly PCP~~Primary Care Physician~~ Doctor's appointment.
Height, Weight, blood work~~ a complete physical.

It is required to keep you healthy... Many insurance companies require a yearly one. It is a good thing, because it gives your doctor a chance to see how you are doing... kind of early pick up of any issues...

It is a good idea to have one.
