Today is beautiful and sunny so the kids and I went for a drive. It felt good to get out. I saw a huge pile of fertilizer in one field. That’s a sign of spring here!
Looks so yummy! Wish I could taste it <3
It was so good! I found Rana brand mozzarella ravioli and they were amazing! I made enough so I could freeze a container and we will have spaghetti one night this week. :yummy: I have homemade meatballs in the freezer but I think there is enough meat in the sauce. I’ll save those for the frozen sauce. I’m really enjoying having a freezer in the garage!

My positive is we did a big grocery shopping since the weekend forecast is another round of snow and frigid temps. For some odd reason all the stores have been out of foil broiler pans but we lucked out and were able to buy four packs today with 2 to a pack or 8 total. 👍

Lelia's surefeed hasn't been closing all the way about 10% of the time, allowing Sparkle to be able to stick her paw in and get at her food. I opened a tech support ticket with them in hopes they could walk me through trying to fix it, maybe sending me a part to put in, or just telling me if it was something I could fix on my own or not, and they're sending me a whole new feeder! I was not expecting that, but it's awesome! What a great company. :happycat:

(Of course, it's been working well ever since they said that. Technology.)

The snow is still clinging to the thin tree branches of the bush and small tree in the backyard. Like a piece of art etched against the cold, gloomy background. So pretty when the trees are lined with snow on their tops and the dark bark contrasts starkly from underneath. 🥰 Still a winter wonderland outside.

For whatever reason, I've been craving baby applesauce. Kaylee got 4 packs and I ate them
in one day. Yesterday she got more and I ate all of them. Also fruit cups of mandarin oranges.
I'm on a fruit kick, ha!

Got some goodies and should be good for a couple weeks at least. Some from Walmart and others from whole foods. Most excited about the fruit as the last couple grocery runs the fruit I've gotten was not fresh or was out of stock. But everything looks really good today! Especially the strawberries and melon! Also bought some peaches and banana, which are not in the pics.

Making one of the pizzas mom wanted to share as we need room in the freezer since I was a bit excited while shopping this week. I've never had it before and looking forward. It is the screaming Sicilian brand.

Did it! I have this massive, nearly 4 feet x 3 feet painting, weighing over twenty pounds I would guess, in my living room that hangs over the sofa. But when I moved furniture around five or so years ago, instead of sitting centered over the sofa it was off to one side. Every day I look at it and think I really should move it and today was the day. Getting it down alone was a challenge but getting it back up I had to lift it nearly over my head and then try to get the wire over the picture hook without using my hands. Took a few tries and rest breaks in between but it’s up and in the right place! I also removed a dozen or so cat springs and toys from behind the sofa. I think I need to clean back there more often.

I can't believe all the usable good stuff that's being thrown away downstairs as all admin people clear out their offices in preparation for their move to another building and the existing space renovated into lab space :eek3: I scored extra binders the other day which my department can always use. This morning I grabbed a surge protector extension cord thing to use in our inside office space because the one we have is way overloaded. My newest score? An extra large brand new LL Bean Boat and Tote insulated bag :jive: The guy said I could have it. I don't know why the company doesn't just have people set aside good stuff for others to take until X date.

This had me totally mesmerized last night:

What a beautiful picture! It matches really well with the sofa color and walls!
Thank you, I really love it. Salvation Army $25 find that I nearly killed myself trying to get into and then out of my car. When I bought it there was a very ugly three inch wide wood frame nailed onto the back that I had to very carefully cut away with a Dremel blade. Very scary project but once the frame was gone it was perfect.

Yum yum. Great haul. What are you gong to make with the shredded jackfruit? My cousin uses it as a meat substitute.

My positive is I got the dates in my Target order. I'll wait until tomorrow to try them, when the Cinnamon Almond Butter gets here.

We have a local Puerto Rican bakery/cafe that I've been wanting to try. When things closed down last spring they started serving free breakfasts for local kids. They seem like just good people. They are starting curbside orders now so tomorrow I'm going to order Cuban sandwiches and empanadas for our lunch. :yummy: It hasn't happened yet and I'm already feeling so positive over it.

When my DD was a baby and transitioning to solid foods I started using the baby food fruits for topping on her waffles and pancakes. She LOVED it. They really should make them in bigger jars for us adults! I tried a couple of the fruit combos on waffles for myself too. They were so good!

The first doctor I worked for was left "holding" a practice when the main doctor suddenly passed away. A couple had recently retired and another just abandoned it for his own. So it was this huge building that had had seven doctors and was down to one. They were tossing so much stuff too. I took a few binders and some storage stuff. If I'd known a few years down the road I would be homeschooling I could have stocked up real good! :flail:

Dates are good with cream cheese.

Yay, you bought an Upton's product, i.e. jackfruit. I had Trader Joe's jackfruit and did not care for it at all but maybe I should try the Upton's brand since I really like their chorizo and DH likes their Italian sausage.

My positive is when DH and I went out this afternoon it started snowing so we stopped at one of the coffee shops we visited a few weeks ago because some of the restrictions for indoor dining have been lifted. It was so nice to be able to sit down and enjoy a warm drink on a bitter cold day. ☕

I'll have to check those trash dumpster things daily until the end of the clean out for any more good stuff. I've seen lamps, office decor stuff, general office supply stuff like bookends and file sorters / trays, etc. Really such a waste of things that other people in the company may be able to use either at work or at home or may want to donate / sell to others.

I really should have taken more stuff from the last job when the company closed down the lab. All the N95s and gloves, disinfectant wipes, etc. We were told to take whatever we wanted.
