It's through my cable provider.
We get PBS on our "rabbit ears" antenna. We got rid of our satellite when they doubled the price.

fig jam on grilled cheese is amazing
I'll have to try some. I love the dried figs I got from Walmart.

My positive is that I'm getting some dried dates in our Target order. I can't wait to try them. This is what they look like:

I will have fresh clothes later today.

I also cleaned and ran the humidifier, which is a positive as the kitties have looked hesitant when petting them recently because they are so staticky! This will hopefully make things much more comfortable for them when giving them rub downs now.

I just finished a BIG grocery shopping trip as it seemed I had run out of everything. As I unpacked Willow came tearing across the room like a starving animal spying a steak. What was it she smelled? Twinkies of course. They are her most favorite food in the world. I thought she would steal the package if I didn’t open it quickly so I had no choice except to take a break from unpacking while we both enjoyed a special treat.

With what kind of cheese? I think when I’ve heard of it with cheese they weren’t pairing it with American or cheddar type cheeses. But that sounds like something my mom would go for.
Ugh, I can’t remember! Although I have heard it’s very good with Brie cheese, even though that’s the only type of cheese I’m not a fan of.

Clean clothes are a thing now, and even started cleaning the bathroom. Wiped the dust off the ledges and windows, and doing a deep clean on counter, toilet, and floors. It feels nice to unclutter the counter and have more space!

I had a Zoom call this morning with relatives who live overseas. I miss them a lot and it was quite uplifting to connect with them.

I have a load of laundry going on right now, and will also do some deep cleaning throughout the rest of the day. I'm looking forward to a very clean home!

Anytime you want to come and help me declutter my house I would be more than grateful. 😉

My positive is I picked up a Latte with almond milk at SB after running a quick errand and used my Rewards so it was free. :yess:

Yes, she is a carb junkie. She doesn’t like or beg for meat or most table food but loves breads, rolls and bakery items. Twinkies are at the absolute top of her favorites list but she also will eat Hostess chocolate cupcakes. These items are rarely in the house because they aren’t great for either of us but when they are she demands I share.

Where my cats are
I made sauce for dinner. :banana2:Its been a while.

DD keeps saying “I can’t wait for dinner.” She’s been saying it all day!

The white pot has sweet Italian sausage links and beef. The black has chicken and sausage because DH isn’t eating beef these days. Both have portobello mushrooms. :yummy:

LoL! Maybe after I catch up on things around here :)
When I was young and not at a good housekeeper I used to call it “moving out cleaning” because pretty much the only time I did deep cleaning was when I was leaving one apartment for another and had to clean to get my damage deposit back.

It's sweet of you to share your twinkies and cupcakes with Willow as a special treat. I used to share a package of vanilla Hostess cupcakes with my poodle on her birthday. My cats would never eat human food.

Looks so yummy! Wish I could taste it <3

When I was young and not at a good housekeeper I used to call it “moving out cleaning” because pretty much the only time I did deep cleaning was when I was leaving one apartment for another and had to clean to get my damage deposit back.
What a funny thing to call it, but it makes sense! I actually never knew I was capable of being neat and tidy until I moved out for school. My dorm, summer work housing, and my mini house rental all were kept neat and tidied weekly. Vacuumed weekly and dusted and mopped monthly.

When coming back to my mom's, I deep cleaned the downstairs when I came in as my brother who was staying at the time had not done any in months or longer. There was a thick orange coating at the bottom of the shower along the edges and mold on the toilet seat. There was dust caked on the windows, trim, and ledges. With my cat having asthma, I made sure to clean all the dust before I let them out of their carriers. I also had energy to go through some of the upstairs, like vacuuming and hand washing the kitchen floor. It was so easy for me to have the energy and thought I was a new person. This last maybe a couple of months... but then my mental health got so bad from staying here, I remembered what it was like living here and not feeling energy or motivated to do anything.

But it feels really good to have had the energy and motivation to clean one whole room yesterday (minus the shower, maybe that will be a project for today?). Cleaned the counters, sink, toilet, wiped dust off the ledge, vacuumed the floor, hand wiped with water to get extra clean, recycled old toilet paper tubes, and will be washing the rug in my next laundry run.
