What does it show the animals doing? What kind of animals?
The best part is it's a true story. Here's the website which explains the tv version of the show on PBS:
All Creatures Great and Small on MASTERPIECE on PBS

My positive is not too exciting. It was 1F when I woke up and 8F now so I stayed home and went through all the junk mail from before the holidays. :rolleyes2: I was planning to start my taxes but procrastinated.

I got my Christmas tree down today. :flail:

And since we rearranged the living room for the tree we found we have space for DS’s train table that has been living in the foyer. So I have my foyer back and DS can play much more comfortably. His train days are probably limited; so I’m happy whats left will be nice.

Sounds wonderful. ❤
I've started reading my Bible this year. It's such a nice way to start my mornings.

It's great that your daughter loves to read! I haven't read Ted Dekker yet, though I do have one of his books. My friend got it for me as a birthday present since I'm obsessed with Frank E. Peretti's books.
DH reads both (when he reads; he doesn’t too often but sometimes he gets in a reading mood for a while.) so I bet you’ll like both. I read to escape to pleasant places so that’s just not my kind of fiction.

I’m trying to find DD more options like that now. I found that Frank Peretti does have a series for her age. I need to look into it more. Unfortunately I doubt the library has them. But maybe I can find a friend who does.

It is art zoom chat with a friend today. Going to continue to work on a knitting project. Not really sure what it is, but maybe it will be a personal size blanket? I just filled my knitting needle with as many cast-ons as I could comfortable fit, so it will be a surprise how wide it is! Knitting seems to be the perfect activity while chatting for me as I can still concentrate on the chat while doing something. When I water colored painted a couple weeks ago, I found it a bit hard to focus on the conversation while figuring out how I wanted to paint. So knitting works much better for me!

The sun is also out today and looking forward to a yummy asian salad and leftover fries with merkts cheese sauce dip and cheeseballs for meals today.

What kind of cheeseballs? That's a great idea, to dip fries in cheese sauce.
They are from a local restaurant where my fries and cheese came from last night. They were pretty tasty, and I wondered if they used the Merkt's cheese in their cheeseballs due to the different texture. It was deep fried, so if you think about mozzarella sticks but in ball form and with cheddar cheese on the inside. :)

My positive is I just finished watching the next episode of All Creatures Great & Small on PBS Masterpiece. It was so good. :goldstar: My husband asked, "is this your new favorite show?" And I replied, "yes!" I can't wait for next week's show. Even though I could watch it on-demand I'd rather have something to look forward to.

I remembered this morning that I had an indoor/outdoor heated kennel pad in the garage that I used to use to keep my freeze baby Murphy (RIP) warm. So I pulled it out this morning and put one of my outside shelters on top of it. It’s in the minus teens this week and it will help keep the visiting kitties warmer.
Where did you get that? Mind if I ask the price?

Where do you watch it on demand?

My positive is I really like my Pita Chips from Aldi. I got the sea salt flavor. Next time I will try to get the garlic flavor. They were really good on my snack plate. I used red pepper hummus and cherry preserves today. I will try some different things this week on them.

Was the hummus and cherry preserves eaten together or separately? I've never had preserves or jam with pita chips, but sounds like it would add a nice sweetness! Especially if cheese was included, yum, yum!

My positive is dropping off holiday gifts for friends who are a couple while the husband was in town. They also dropped off a birthday gift for me, and knowing that I love succulents.... got me a couple new plants plus some leaves/cuttings of some of the wife's plants. They are all new species for me, too! There was one more thing that was not a live plant, so that was left in the bag to open on my actual birthday to make the day feel special.

I've also been having bagels with cream cheese and nutella.... so good! While I've had just nutella before and just cream cheese, mixing the two is a yummy combination.

How cute! <3 Do you know what breed(s)? I've never had a dog myself, but love walking dogs!
Her mom is a black lab mix but it is unknown what her dad was. Some of her siblings look like rottweilers, some look like spaniels and she looks like a beagle, so it is really a big mystery. This is actually a picture with mom and siblings. So she looks the least like the others.

I just put them separately on my snack plate. I have mixed the preserves with nut butter. I'll have to try it with cream cheese. I love finding new combinations. 👍

Her name is Petunia for now, but I'll probably be calling her Poppy.
Poppy is precious. I love her. 😍

My positive is I bought some Upouria sweet french vanilla cappuccino on Ebay. It says the "sweet" version is a bit sweeter than the original. So that will be interesting to try and compare. ☕

I think fig jam is supposed to go well with savory. I don’t often like mixing sweet and savory so that’s not something I would try. I had black currant jam the other day from a gift set. It was ok; something different.

neely neely so beautiful!
There's something so peaceful about a fresh snowfall.
I bet!

I am definitely not a fan of mixing sweet and savory together either, however, I will say that fig jam on grilled cheese is amazing (at least, in my opinion 😉).

With what kind of cheese? I think when I’ve heard of it with cheese they weren’t pairing it with American or cheddar type cheeses. But that sounds like something my mom would go for.
