How is your mouth, jaw today?💖
Better thank you. Everyone told me Phase 1 was worse but I'm having more difficulty with Phase 2. Hopefully I can put this behind me and move forward now. Thanks for asking. 🤗

My positive is Carleton has been a wonderful nurse to me, e.g. sitting beside me day, noon and night. :catlove:

Everyone is different in their reactions, and experiences.. While you can ask people what to expect, your really never know how your body is going to react to anything.. I always expect the worse and are gratefully surprised when it is better than expected...

For me, the first phase was horrible: 2 teeth removed, and a bone graft.... each step was much easier.. The last one, was a breeze... I was able to watch the Cerec machine make my tooth from a clump of ceramic... or plastic, or whatever it is... I was mesmerized by it.. It was cool. I found the entire process really interesting.

It will get easier... I promise...

I had a problem with phase 2 of my dental implant last night
Did you have to get a bone graft? That seems like the hardest part.

Favorite move at 2:22 for this video
My bootyshaking exercises are similar, except I don't twerk, I swing the booty around.

My positive is, we didn't get our Aldi order last night, it is coming this afternoon, so that gives me something to look forward to today. I guess the young girl from the church didn't want to drive that late at night in this winter weather, so a guy is bringing it this afternoon.

Yes, without a bone graft there is not enough mass for the implant to hold onto and it would fail. It's a long but necessary process. Once it's done I know it will be worthwhile.

Another positive, my daughter called from abroad this morning and we had a very long talk. Although I miss her terribly she has adjusted to her studies and lifestyle nicely. :heartshape:

M maggiedemi Yes, I had to get a bone graft, as there was not enough bone to achieve a decent base for the graft.
It was necessary.
The graft was done the same time as the extractions. That is why it was so painful for me. But not as bad as other dental procedures I have been through in the past.
Technology has improved so much.

I have been walking alot lately and somehow developed a bad callous. I recently threw out my electric callous file because it stopped working. I Was about to order a new electric callous file when I found one in my closet.:yess: I totally forgot that my sis gave that one to me a few Christmases ago and I put it too the side because I already had one. Yay! Saves me money.

There is a big sign in the yard of a house across the street that says “Welcome Home Grandpa.” :redheartpump: I have never met the people there but I often see an older man driving a golf cart around his yard with a kid close in age to my kids. I think they do something with horses because I see them get deliveries from some kind of veterinary supply place. But anyway; that sign is definitely a very positive thing to see! 😄

Lovely color! I'm similar with not wanting anything huge and flashy. 🤗

my positive is that i am slowly getting caught up with writing to soldiers and pen pals ... right now my right hand is a little sore lol
Nice! It is a never ending cycle at times. A lovely one though full of lulls and busyness. I recently added more pen pals on my pen pal app within the span of a week. Then there was a lull and wasn't sure how many would write back or how often and sent a couple more. Now there is a nice pile of letters that arrived this week and am excited with many of them to correspond. May take me a week to catch up, haha.

What are some of your favorite topics to discuss with pen pals?

Cal and I snuggled a lot yesterday, she's so warm and cuddly!!
How does Cal like to cuddle with you???

I've noticed all my kitties have different styles. Persia often lays on my ankles/feet or in between a bed made with my legs. Katrina is either curled next to my legs, especially when laying on my side and my knees are bent. She loves to lean against the crook of my inner knee! She also loves the leg bed when creating a diamond or square and also lays on my hips. Isabelle prefers my belly or side, but sometimes lays next to my legs. Although, she loves my leg bed while outside on the deck, but normally starts on my chest for some scratches before moving to that spot.

Migraine finally seems gone. Yea! Also looking forward to watching more of Ru paul's drag race second episode that I started yesterday. Such a fun, uplifting show!

That sounds like fun, too!
Not really fun, but it's helping to firm my upper thighs and this in turn is making my sore leg feel better for some reason.

told me firmly " i dont want no gigantic chunk of jewelry
I'm the same, I would rather find a beautiful bargain. Getting a good deal makes me happy. I do love big rings though. They don't have to be expensive, I just like how they look.

My positive is here is what I got in our Aldi order- Dill pickles, pickled jalapenos, tomato basil goat cheese crumbles, sweet cream coffee creamer, vanilla almond milk, chocolate almond milk, cauliflower sea salt chips, cauliflower sea salt crackers, baked potato chips, banana chips, tropical dried fruit medley, quinoa crunch veggie burgers, Nescafe dark instant coffee, snapdragon apples, gala apples, bartlett pears, bananas, sweet potatoes, cauliflower, frozen asparagus, frozen mixed veggies, cinnamon applesauce, avocadoes, and various other veggies, dairy, nuts, etc.

The only disappointment was they substituted my imported aged vintage Irish cheese with "Mild" Irish cheese!!!!! I would never pay this much money for mild cheese. I want sharp aged cheese! But it tastes positively fine, so I'll use it. 🧀

W WillowMarie Migraine finally seems gone. (I had your post quoted but something messed it up.) :dunno:

I'm so glad you're feeling better. :hugs: I get migraines from time to time too and they can be very debilitating.

It's so lovely and I agree with your gf that a dainty piece of jewelry is much more attractive than a huge pretentious piece. Maybe you can give my husband a few pointers on how to pick out jewelry, lol.
