They do. But a serving of chickpeas is probably 1 cup, which is way more than 2 tablespoons of hummus.
Huh. Might as well put the chickpeas on my sandwich.

I saw this sort of spicy Mexican tofu recipe and thought you might like to try it:
Thank you. It sounds nice & fiery.

I could care less about the chicken nuggets, but I'm craving honey mustard dressing
I often do that, make food just to go with my hot sauce.

For lunch I had tofu cooked in olive oil & hot sauce on Kaiser roll with lettuce, tomato, mayo.
For dinner I had Gardein vegetarian meatballs on Kaiser roll with mushroom/green pepper pasta sauce, mozzarella cheese, and hot sauce. It was really good!

I had Eggo frozen waffles, 3 of them with butter and real Maple Syrup. They were so good.
Oh, yum. :yummy: I haven't had Eggo waffles in forever. Might have to put them on my next shopping list.

For dinner??
That's known as "breakfast for dinner". :)

That would work. :D Mash them up, add some mayo, maybe onion, celery and grated carrot, and you'll think you were eating tuna salad. Here's a recipe I've used as a base for my version: Chickpea Salad Sandwich

Tonight I had the same as last night - mushroom naan pizza and salad.

Was out looking for Cashew Butter today. One store had a medium size jar for $13.99 !!! Another had a smaller jar for $5.99. But both were just cashews and oil, no sugar or anything else. So I didn't buy either.

Also saw Sunflower Butter. Can't remember the prices, but I think were cheaper than the Cashew Butter.

Some of my stores have salad bars with vegetables and fruit already diced up. I will buy them sometimes but they usually go bad and end up in the trash. I like the mushrooms and onions the best.

I've heard of people raiding the salad bar just for the cut up produce because they don't need, say, a whole bag of carrots for a recipe.

The comments are split between those who say it's ok and those who say it's not.

I signed up for a meal delivery service work offers. The service does prepared meals with fresh local ingredients. A basic weekly box contains an entree, two salads, soup, and a grain bowl. A la carte options include fresh eggs, bread, and produce when in season. There are options for those with dietary needs / preferences like gluten-free and vegetarian. The type of cuisine is global. You might get an Asian-themed kit one week and a Mexican themed kit the next and some other international cuisine the following week. The service delivers kits to work weekly and you can opt to skip a week or for however long. The first week is free and after that I think you pay for each week you select a kit. I'll give it a try for a few weeks and see how I like the food.

What size sheet pan would I need for a standard sized pizza? Half sheet size? I got the confirmation email about the prepared meal delivery service. My first kit includes a complementary pizza. Guess this means a trip to Target this weekend and buying more than just what I need :runaround:

I've never even eaten waffles , i'm lactose intolerant!
But , my mum makes the BEST lactose ( and gluten ) free pancakes !
Can you use the pancake batter to make waffles too? My mom used to do that with a box mix. There are lots of lactose-free waffle recipes online. I don't know if there are any frozen lactose-free waffles sold in supermarkets.

Guess it depends what they call a standard sized pizza. I'd probably just get a pizza pan at a dollar store, unless Target had something similarly priced.
