Does this mean your meals are improving? Fingers crossed you were able to make some headway with the staff. :crossfingers:
It is getting slightly better. The dinners have been getting better this past week. I have come to the realization that if I want more protein I am going to have to supply my own protein shakes and
protein bars. Hopefully once I get my knee surgery I will be able to leave this place and get a senior appartment. I hope I will be able to get Tommy back. I miss him so much.

I have a package of TJ's pumpkin empanadas in the freezer.. time to pull them out, for supper...

Sick later will be a package of antipasto: cheese, two different types of olives, two different types of salami. This along with crackers and a cocktail will be my New Years Eve...

I will also be texting with a friend in Florida. We have done this every year for a few years... until one of us falls asleep....

HAPPY MEW YEAR TO ALL....

I cleaned the kitchen this afternoon, so don't want to mess it up with meal prepping, so am just going to throw a frozen pizza in the toaster oven. Will likely have an apple for dessert. And maybe "celebrate" with a 2nd cup of my Suisse Mocha tonight. :celebrate:

Here's what I had for lunch. Celery and carrot sticks, with a personal size hummus cup, and Triscuits, broken in dipping size pieces.

Here's a regular caramel recipe:
Thanks. I ended up doing 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup butter, 1/8 cup milk, 1/2 Tsp vanilla extract. It was really yummy! I tried it with white sugar too, but that was disgusting.

we'll be having our Big Sandwich
Sounds yum. Can we see a pic please?

That's a snack plate & you know it!

Breakfast: 1 yummy Caramel Apple made with brown sugar, and 1 yucky one made with white sugar that sucked, tasted like gritty frosting. It never turned brown, just stayed white.

Lunch: Snack plate

Dinner: Will be having my famous huge dinner plate salad and another brown sugar caramel apple.

We're making two flatbread pizzas for New Year's Eve. Mine will be all veggie and DH will have meat, both will have sauce and mozzarella cheese with oregano. I was tempted to bake for dessert but decided against it since I'm trying to eat less sugar. I feel like I have more desserts in winter than summer probably because I'm indoors during the colder months. :dunno:
