Humid here after last night's storms. The good news is Sunday is supposed to be all day sun but only in the 70s and 50s at night.

Tomorrow will be a good day for the Vincie girl to hang out on Harvey's deck He is currently very jealous because Melissa and James brought home a rescue, Fritz. Wendell adores him but Harvey's nose is out of joint. They said he'll get over it. Maybe the Vincie Girl can soothe his hurts feelings!! :rbheart:

The cottontails in the Mojave fascinated us all when we lived there. The door out from the living room into the catio was kept open all the time except during snow days or sandstorms, so there was quite a lot of interest shown at all times of day or night by the cats. We also had a big bay window in the master bedroom and the windowsills were nice and deep, enabling cats to sit and watch the rabbits. We bought rabbit pellet for them, and we had bird feeders in the trees right outside the bedroom and a few yards away, so there were always great "shows" going on. The girls are on the deck and I was out with them for a bit. We're supposed to have a break in the heat with highs in the 70s!! I won't have to wet the Vincie girl down even though she likes it. I went out to bring her in last night and found her at Mitch's, my other neighbor, drinking from the stream. Because of her deafness she didn't hear me approach and was startled. I picked her up and carried her home. She slept till after I got up his morning. She and Big Cal are enjoying licking the dew from the Hostas. They are so big now. I had to trim some so they wouldn't interfere with the Heirloom tomato plant, which is growing nicely as well as the Cherry.

It's going to be a good day!

Yesterday was amazing, not a cloud in the sky. The Vincie girl was up early then went back to sleep and then came out around 10am. I made her come in for a bit, she ate used the box and drank some H2O but wanted back out. She got jealous because I was holding Fritz, Harvey's new bro, who is a rescue. What a darling kittie....loves to be held and kissed.

Supposed to be nice today as well.

Anyone having a nice day?
Yes, but the temp was 90 F today and I don't do well in heat/humidity. However, I didn't let that stop me from going to the gym, running on the track and taking a cardio dance class. The class was fabulous, i.e. great music and enthusiastic instructor. On the way home I stopped for an iced coffee to help beat the heat.

Yesterday was beautiful albeit hot but not unbearably humid. I was able to sit out with my girls in the morning. The Vincie girl went out around 10am and slept underneath Harvey's lowest deck step.I squirted her with tepid H2O occasionally but brought her in around pm. Big Cal only goes out in the very early morning.
The Vincie girl has forgiven me for my cuddling and kissing session with Fritz, Harvey's new bro, who is a rescue. :rbheart: She is such a jealous girl, ha!!, but always forgives me. :clap2:

It sounds like she only has eyes for her boy toy kitty!

Feeling so thankful that we can shower daily here in the USA. I was depressed yesterday, so I skipped my shower. I woke up feeling hot, sweaty, itchy, and cranky. So happy to get back in my routine.

Yes, we take some little things for granted. We're so lucky to have hot and cold running H2O. Feels so good in this weather to be clean and fresh smelling!

The Vincie girl adores her Harvey but he is fearful of coming out again. His bros love it outside. Also he is still getting used to Fritz. Melissa said Harvey is the alpha, Wendell is the beta, and Fritz is the something that starts with a C.

Sounds like he loved the park and his new friends!. Any recent pics?
Yup! Between the fleas and him being hot, I had to shave him down. It's not a big deal because he's young and his coat is still maturing. I ordered two more sweaters for him (blue and red) now that his natural coat is gone. I will also be sewing him some pj's for winter.

I started my online class today! It's... interesting. Only time will tell.
