AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! There was a third-generation family born 2 locations ago in a little circle of stones -- kind of like a fairy ring of kittens. I was fortunate enough to know a rescuer/adopter and contacted her when they were old enough. We bundled them up and they were all adopted. Mama and Grandma, the matriarch, were spayed and adopted by us.
Oh, I will kiss Tar, thank you! I'm always descending on her and covering her with kisses. She's on my lap right now, being a perfect laptop croissant.

I think Canada is less strict than other countries, no quarantine. I think just a rabies certificate & wellness certificate from vet.

Awwwww! It’s okay Whistle. Of course I forgive you. Whistle looked so pitiful, I felt bad for him. When I was trying to save Whistle and Banjo, the only bait they would take was Ham! I never understood why kittens wanted ham unless they were just starving and the scent of the meat got their attention but that is what saved the litter. Poor Whistle. I guess the smell brought back memories of being a lost baby. He caught his prey and I didn’t have the heart to take it away from him. He didn’t eat it but he certainly had a good time batting it around for awhile.
I think Flowers is a tattle tail!She did solve the mystery of the scented paw though!
I do love these kitties!

M maggiedemi I think if the ham had been cut into a smaller piece Whistle might have eaten it. He wasn’t really hungry though or he would have tried.

We have a story for everyone tomorrow. Certain noises get attention around here. Everything is fine. At first I wasn’t sure what I was hearing but after a few minutes, it became clear. Who cooks for you! Who cooks for you all. If you are curious, that’s your clue.
This brought out BJs’ deepest instincts.

That is so sweet! I feel like they are all my kitties in my heart but if the matches up with someone, I would have to let them go. You’d have to be willing to bring me a giant box of Kleenex though! Lol
Banjo and Whistle are sweethearts. I don’t know how anyone could resist those faces. Whistle looked so worried that I would fuss about him snitching the ham tonight. In fact, it just made me want to give him more. I’ll be posting more photos of Banjo in a couple of days. She cracked me up tonight but something else happened too so........ not sure which photos to post first. I’ll probably do the pictures of the response to what we heard. I still can’t get Bonjure out of my lap after that! We need an emoji of a cat .....well, this will do to give you an idea of what’s going on right now.
