Most vets accept Care Credit, they even advertise it at their offices. But you still have to find your own way to the vet's office. If you pay off Care Credit within a certain number of months ( I don't remember how many, I think 12) there is no service charge. I did that when my Panthera had to have surgery which cost several thousand dollars and I certainly did not have that kind of money. I did manage to pay off that within 12 months and Panthera has not had any problems since and it is now 10 years later.

Just a thought, if you have funds for an exam, what if you went ahead and took her just for the exam and get an initial opinion from the vet? Idk about where you are, but the vet I see typically doesn't charge me an exam fee over and over if I return for the same issue. Maybe it would give you some peace of mind, or an idea of how much else you might need in terms of funds? I'm sorry you're in this situation...
Because if they need to do blood tests or X-Rays to see if there was some kind of thing going on with her thats causing it--like something in her stomach that shouldn't be--then it costs extra.

The ONLY thing they don't charge extra for is if you come in for like... to check such as... if I were to come in because she was walking weird to check for hip dysplasia or something and then mentioned she was feeling sick too... two totally unrelated style exams they don't charge extra for.

But I already spoke to them before about exam stuff and they said any time they have to do blood tests or X-Rays they gotta charge extra.

Thats why I wanna make sure I'm prepared cause I know some stuff related to cats having similar symptoms can need blood work and/or X-rays to see whats up. So I wanna make sure in case they can't tell without it that I can actually afford it. Otherwise, I'd have ridden up there on my bike with my poor cat for nothing if they can't figure it out, then have wasted $50 for nothing...

As I've explained multiple times, they don't allow payment plans here of any kind. Insurance? Yes. Payment Plans? No. You don't have the money up front, in your hand, you just don't get to receive care.

That stinks that your vet views allowing others to help ahead of time as a payment plan. In my mind that is having the money ahead of time for the what-ifs. The thought of that being viewed as a payment plan stinks and really surprises me.

If you feel safe doing so perhaps you can provide some information about your location. Even the city and state may be helpful for people to help you find more options to help get your baby get vet care.
I don't even post my location on my profile... I am terrified of people and a whole site just knowing where I live would freak me out and make me paranoid. I know it seems irrational, but thats how it is for me...

Besides, I posted this to ask for help with getting money to pay for the vet bill, not advice on extra stuff. I already did a bunch of research myself. I've stated multiple times, 'we do not have any form of free health care aid here where I live'. Trust me on this, one of the staff knows where I live, cause we talked in private. She knows that I don't have that kinda thing here... its actually more stressing having to keep repeating the same answers over and over and over again because people don't seem to believe me.

Not all locations have it and mine isn't one that is.

I keep trying to explain that I really need help ONLY with getting money for her vet bill.

Not advice on what to feed her... not reminding me that there exists pet health care aid stuff out there--because I already looked into it and theres none in my area... not people trying to encourage me to do payment plans because they don't have them here... ect. ect.

I don't need advice, I need HELP.

Just a note to everyone... I'm not seeking advice, I'm seeking HELP. I need help to handle the vet bill, not opinions and advice. Having to repeat the same answers over and over and over and over is only stressing me out so I will not be replying anymore to any further advice on here.

If you actually want to help me, my PayPal e-mail is;

CareCredit is a credit card, not a payment plan. Its a credit card aimed at people who need medical care but can't afford the full cost at once. It has zero percent interest for X months or lower interest for a longer period. Once the promontional period is up the interest is a little higher then normal credit cards. My ER vet doesn't do payment plans but they do accept CareCredit. I know you have it sorted out this time but wanted to clarify if there was another time in the future.

Ah, thank you for clarifying.

Unfortunately, I can't afford monthly payments on a credit card.
I don't even have any credit cards to my name, the only cards I have money related are my PayPal Debit cards...

I do hope to one day be able to afford pet insurance or something like Care Credit, I just can't right now, but thanks for explaining it. I'll mark it down as an option for later.

At least this isn't some fatal disease that NOTHING can be done about. There is a direction to go, we just have to figure out how to get the gas, so to speak.

Covered up my name and address, ect. But you can clearly see the rest... this is what the estimate is for what I'll have to pay and what for...

I've blurred for both papers the location, area code and my card number thing too...
I rather not have my location known... and uh... the card thing for obvious reasons.

Atsuko was very good at the vet but didn't wanna come out till it was time.
She growled at the vet but thats about it. Such a mouthy girl.

This is the receipt. As promised.

Poor baby. She sounds like my Lilith. She's tiny but when she's not happy everyone knows all about it.

Yeah, she won't ever actually attack someone but if they touch her and she doesn't wanna be she makes it known with her complaints of growling.

I do apologize, I would've taken pictures of the vet handling her but before I could think of it, as soon as she looked in her mouth, she made me jump when she gave a loud, 'Oh my god!!'

So... her teeth are rotten basically on both sides and are so bad that the vet said one of them is actually starting to come out on its own and she could probably just remove it with her fingers.

They wanted a stool sample so they have me a tube thing to put her poo in and said I can get it to them anytime within this month so I'm gonna try to grab some and bring it up there within the next few days.

...Ugh.. scooping poo into a narrow tube... fun...

Anyway, I also have this liquid stuff thats some kind of antibiotic they gave me. Told me to give it to her once a day.

The blood work they did should be in by tomorrow.

My main concern tho is now I really gotta try to get the funds to pay for the surgery and everything that goes along with it. ^^;; Fun...

OH! The Seresto thing is a flea collar. One I... can't afford right now but the doctor told me about. I'll look into getting two when I can afford them cause they are $50 each.

Haha... no... nope. Can't do that right now, one thing at a time.

But if you were wondering, thats what thats for.

Indeed I am very happy there is a way around this, even if it means removing her teeth.

Okay, so I got some great news!!
I recently made friend of mine gave me the money for the surgery!

I'm SO glad!
This surgery meant her life after all.

The vet should be calling me tomorrow for the blood test results so I'll be making arrangements then with them for when they can do they surgery.
