I made tuna salad Monday and pizza yesterday, so I'll take a slice of pizza to work for lunch and have the rest of the tuna salad tonight for dinner. Those tuna loaves sound good Winchester Winchester . I almost never bake tuna, but it would be a nice change.

Tonight is thai style chicken tacos. I made them last week and they were delicious. Aaron asked to have them put on regular rotation.

I've been informed that we are likely going out for Tacos and Beer tonight to meet with one of my husbands associates.

Guess it's a good thing I had my FVP (fruit, veggie, protein) diet day yesterday.

GOD I LOVE BURNED CHEESE! I really do. I have had to talk with managers of pizza places on the phone before to assure them that I want my cheese somewhat browned and bubbly.\

Tonight? OH, chicken salad, I think. That's easy enough.

No, I do not eat well. It is one of the things that living alone and with a tiny budget does to you. Someday...I keep telling myself that!

So do I!!! A little bit less burnt would have been ideal, as there was a little bit of goat's cheese but it had lost most of its flavour :lol::lol:

I hear you about living alone om a tiny budget for food, I used to go to extremws of just salads/veggies soup/apples to saussages/popcorn... And I don't even like saussages that much

Winchester Winchester do you buy the bags of shrimp from the freezer section of the supermarket or the shrimp from the seafood counter? I keep finding that the frozen bags of shelled and de-veined shrimp have a mushy texture and a weird chemical taste :barfgreen: Maybe its' just the brand. If you buy frozen bags, what brand you you recommend?

LOL, micknsnicks2mom micknsnicks2mom , I DO THAT TOO!!! Sauce over bread! Some days, I just don't want to bother, and it is quick, easy, and tasty! AND I've thawed sauce for tonight...We'll see if I feel like boiling pasta or not when the time comes.
I always boil a whole pound of pasta at one go, toss in oil, then put 2-servings each in bags in the freezer.

In fact, I have a baggie of spaghettini defrosting right now, so I can use up the rest of the pizza sauce from earlier in the week. Pasta with pre-made frozen meatballs and toasted garlic bread is "what's for dinner".

Sounds like lots of us are going Italiano this evening.

Dear Richard says he needs a hair cut, so we'll probably grab a bite before or after his hair appt.

I want a burger. I really want a burger. And fries. I really want fries, too. I may suggest Red Robin tonight. But I'd even go for McD's.

I haven't. Looks interesting, but unfortunately only sold in the US at this time.

Can't believe I've been vegetarian almost 10 years and only had tofu once. Really must try it again.
I've been vegetarian for almost 60 years. I was 9 years old when I started. I like tofu but really don't eat enough of the stuff.
