Rick did stop for hoagies last night. I think we'll probably have leftover pizza from Thursday and leftover hoagies from last night for supper tonight. It's fine for a Saturday night supper, maybe while watching a couple movies.

It's freezing out, so I've got vegetarian baked beans in the slow cooker. And if I can find a recipe, and get adventurous, I may try making some homemade bread. :yummy:

Well, for our Super Bowl Sunday, I'm making sloppy joes/BBQ at Dear Richard's request and some macaroni salad. I'm also making Cook's Country's version of Buffalo Chicken Dip with crackers and veggies.

I had Trader Joe's Vegetarian Chili with a corn muffin. I am by myself so there is no sense in making a big pot of it. Later I will have some chips and dip and watch a little of the game.

Leftovers from Super Bowl Sunday.

FWIW, the Cook's Country Buffalo Chicken Dip was good, but not any better than the version with canned chicken. I don't know that I'd bother with it again.

If we eat at home, it will be leftovers. I cooked him shrimp last night and baked myself some fish. We will probably eat the rest of that with some fries and a green vegetable of some sort.

I'm glad to see that you are back. You are the only person I know that has had the flu.
Welcome back....you were missed!

Rick and I will split a small slice of ham and a large baked yam and have a bit of salad.
Thank you both! It's going on three weeks, and my chest is still tight, and I'm still weak, but I'm not SICK anymore! EVERYONE here has the stuff! My next door neighbor's year old son is in the hospital with is, as is the NEXT neighbor down's 87 year old mother!

Brown sugar crusted ham (it was DELICIOUS!!), broccoli slaw and corn pudding. A really nice, tasty meal. :yummy:

I like these fun OT threads...hope you don't mind my joining in :)
Tonight we served reverse pan seared rib eye with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. Humans loved it.
Our cats had chicken hearts and lamb lung, and our dogs had chicken hearts and bison and the leftover lamb lung. It was boneless meal night!
