You are the perfect candidate in my opinion. I am so sick of watching him help someone who can't figure out how to give their cat toys and stimulation. Bringing a new cat home and integrating them are key to adoptions being successful.
I agree. It ticks me off when I see these people  who have cats and have no cat tree, shelves, toys, etc. It's crazy how they blame the cats when they don't have a clue how to interact with them. It's like they want a cat but not everything that comes along with them. HELLO!!!!! People cats need their own stuff. They are a lot like people.... independent but still needs their own stuff and space to feel like they have a home.

These people need dogs, they don't need much.

This site has seriously been the BIGGEST HELP EVER in my whole history of fostering.  Ever.

I share the link ALL THE TIME, and give it to ALL my adoptive families, and my shelter!  I call you my "Cat ladies" with apologies to all the men who are here and watching!
I share the link to TCS every time I volunteer with the humane society at adoptions. I'm always talking about how everyone is very helpful.

So, who wants to see our Naomi girl!?

Giddie came off the perch! Here are Giddie, Fudgie, and Naomi eating breakfast!
Hey, Fudgie, can I come and sit eith you?
All curled up on Mamas bed.

She is hiding her face, because she just got in trouble for smacking Chubbie. Obviously, she wasnt too upset as she went to sleep.

I have lots!
There are still spats, but they are figuring it out.

I was just thinking about Naomi today. This is such good news. Sadly JG won't have anything to do now.

And upgrade the cattery.
For sure!   I'm thinking that eventually I'll need to turn it back into my office. Actually, I'm going to have to remove the carpet- this last batch just killed the carpet- and will probably just put in  tile.  It's easier all around.

I did just get a big outdoor dog kennel and I'm planning on turning it into a catio.  I'm still in the planning stages.

Babies and carpet. Safer, Babies and carpet...ewwwwww. Pick any species. Suncatcher makes some great component's. https://www.customcages.com/suncatcher-cat.html   you can buy the house to enclosure tunnels. I think on any outside enclosure a chain and padlock are necessary.

Took me two days, but I just finished reading the entire thread.  The story was amazing! Have you thought about writing it into a story? There's so many twists that it could be a book! Maybe write it from Naomi's view?

Anyways, this was so uplifting to read! I'm so glad everyone found homes, and that's so great Naomi is starting to fit in

Happy Birthday Wendy!!!  Hope you had a GREAT Birthday!

Happy birthday!  Fortunately, it sounds like you didn't get another pregnant rescue cat as a birthday gift.

Meet my new emergency fosters, Indigo, Lola, and Bocephus. They have lived with their Mama since they were 4 days old, for 13 years. Yes, 13 YEARS. They were abandoned feral kittens when she saved them. Their Mama lost her home a month ago and rather than abandon her animals, she became homeless. She kept her cats together in a large crate as she slept on the street, searching desperately for an apartment that would allow multiple cats. Unfortunately, she hasn't had any luck. She also struggles with mental illness, and I think that having her cats was what was helping her keep it together. She is receiving help right now, and I'm giving her cats a safe and loving place to live until she can reunite with them. I hope that she will have some solace knowing that I will love them for her while she's not able to be here. She was feeding then vegan. I can't afford it, and I think cats need to have meat, so I am slowly transitioning then to other food. Say a little prayer or send some white light for these sweet senior kitties and their Mama. I hope they can be together soon.
