Wordle 2024

[Kwik]

How do you do so well in quintumble? Been trying for a few days but it takes me a lot of hints to get there

I really don't know why but I just "see" the words right away- First I move what I plainly see then I move the consonant or vowels to the 2nd place( like if there's a V it cannot be followed by a z,m and must be a vowel) and try to visualize the obvious first- the words are generally common words - if I must take a reveal I use one in the middle ,never the second row

Not sure if thsts helpful,I do alot of shuffling not to take a reveal

Honestly though,whether you take alot or a little time ,take no reveals or many reveals it doesn't make a difference because you still get the point for your streak- I pretty much get very good times and really high scores,hardly ever use a reveal and am not further ahead than anyone else-lol sooooooo?

How do you do so well in quintumble? Been trying for a few days but it takes me a lot of hints to get there

I was terrible at Quintumble for a long time. I just couldn’t get my brain to work that way. I’m better now—usually—but it takes quite awhile to get it.

My first step is always to look at the second letters and move any that don’t work where they are: For example, a word beginning with P could never have a D as the second letter. So the D is going to have to move next to a word that starts with a vowel. Once I get the second letters to where they look reasonable, it’s trial-and-error and hints! Some days I do well, other days…no.

That's how I feel too. I found tons of wrong words, so I was able to get hint after hint after hint. LOL But I don't really enjoy it, so probably won't continue with it much longer.
