Took whisky and blighty to the vet. Clipped claws which I can't do myself and they don't charge me and second inoculation for blighty plus second wormer. That's done for a year. His little front legs are a bit bent outwards but it doesn't stop him from racing around.
Spent some time with the grandkids. I wake up every morning ,go to the mirror and say '' You can do this ,have a good day''. I do this cause I have Bipolar and I have to get through the day.
@CatDavidLouis. It is stressful here but not just because of the situation. People are very stressed here. There's so many of us from all over the world.
I'm a chronic depressive so am prone to the weeps. This was finally diagnosed at vague
Stupid phone. At age 40. I was just thought of as a child who cried easily. Well I still haven't cried. Almost a record. I know it's late but thank you for being so understanding.
And I'm so glad about your wife. MS is such a insidious disease. Long may she stay in remission.
BooBoo and I Bounced this morning! It's the first time in a long, long time that he has wanted to Bounce and sometimes I've thought that we'd never Bounce again between his allergies and then his poor paw being so sore. But he's been doing really well the last month or so; honestly, he's almost like a young cat again (he is 18 years old). He's been playing with Da Bird and chasing the other kids around. He's very alert again, too, and not spending so much time on his own. He's been taking the feline equivalent of joint juice and he gets a shot every 3-4 months for allergies. For some reason, everything is working out well and our BooBoo is back.
Anyway, this morning I got out of the shower and was drying off when I heard him caterwauling outside the bathroom door (that Rou-rou-rouuuuuuuuuuu sound
). I threw a t-shirt on quickly and opened the door. Boo strutted into the bathroom, hopped up on the toilet, turned around, sat down, and roared! He just roared! I walked over, leaned down, he put his front paws on my left shoulder. I scooped him up and away we went, Bouncing and singing all through the house. He can't hear me sing anymore; he's deaf. But he was purring away and playing with my wet hair and he could feel my vibrations as I was singing and Bouncing him. We had a great time.
We made our way back to the bedroom and I flopped him on the bed. He meowed a "Thanks, Mom!' and I said, "You're welcome, buddy!" He curled up on the bed and went to sleep. And I got dressed with a smile.
Sometimes it's the little things that mean the most. Bouncing on a Tuesday morning with my buddy. It doesn't get any better than that.
I'm glad to hear about booboo. They make us so happy don't they.
Whisky spent s long time on my lap again.
At the moment blighty is running around like a mad thing and sounds like an elephant. Amazing how much noise their feet make.
I successfully rehoused my two youngest tarantulas, no issues at all which was a surprise lol. I figured one of them would have attempted to kick hairs at me or skitter out of its enclosure but nope they both went willingly. Plus I changed the water in my feisty tarantulas tank, she likes to make things hard on me but today she just sat there.
