Next week my 12 year old cat Pipo is getting his some of his teeth removed and I am very worried.
This is very difficult for me to talk about....2 years ago my Buggy Boo went in for dental work. He came out of anesthesia and seemed fine at first, but then went into respiratory distress and died. It was extremely traumatic for me, and even now, I can barely type these words. I have had many cats over the years, and loved them all, but Buggy Boo was very special. I don't know if any of you who have had many cats that you loved, but had one that stood out from the rest, but that was Buggy Boo.
I know Pipo absolutely needs his teeth taken care of, but I'm so afraid. Is there anyone who has had dental work done on your cat? How can I make this easier on Pipo? Is there any advice or encouragement you can give me?
