I seriously doubt it but I'd like to visit.

Would you ever travel to volunteer for the Red Cross?

I would love to but I am not able because of my physical problems.
I love watching how they help people by washing clothing, applying Vaseline
to areas that need it. Just the little things that can mean so much to someone
who has lost everything.

Would you work for Doctors without Borders in a country that is in turmoil?

Not now but would have liked the opportunity to do so when I was young.

Would you be a volunteer in a home for elderly people, reading books to them and helping them with their meals if necessary?

Yes, I did that and even more for five years while taking care of a friend in an assisted living. I would do it again.

Would you ever take care of someone's child in your home while the parent is hospitalized?

Only if they didn't have an aid such as a white cane or a guide dog.

Would you ever lie to a friend or relative to keep them from knowing something that would hurt their feelings or that would terribly upset them?

Yes. For instance if they just got an unfortunate hair cut and people were gossiping about it, I would tell them it looked
great.

If you were the one with the unfortunate hair cut, would you want to know it didn't look good?

If it were that bad, I'd probably know so I don't think I'd want to be reminded. I had that Dorothy Hamill haircut back in the day. It was cute on Dorothy. On me it just looked like someone put a salad bowl on my head and cut around it. :cringe:

Would you ever want to live off the grid in Alaska?

Would you ever have a second home and where would it be?

Not now but while living in France for a period of over 40 years I had a second home in Montevideo which my husband and I occupied for several weeks every Summer to see the family and enjoy the beaches along the coast.

Would you ever emigrate from your country of birth never to return?

Hmmmmm.......that's a tough one.........at this point in time I would have to say no.

Would you ever visit someone that you only knew from the internet and phone conversations,
(a long distance romance), without first having done a background check?
(The trip would involve going to a foreign country)

No, not to a foreign country. I did that within my country and I'm still here. :sunshine:

Would you ever give away all your clothes if you were going to buy a new wardrobe? It would even include your favorite pieces of clothing and accessories.

No, I wouldn't.

Would you wear wool clothes if you knew they were made with wool originating in farms where sheeps are skinned alive? Unfortunately these horrible practices are permitted in some countries.

Only if it were in China where the bride and groom were wearing red.

Would you ever tell someone they were being rude if they were doing something to offend someone who was with you?

Yes, if the person was a friend. If I felt the rudeness was called for I would not get involved.

Would you ever host a dinner party and prepare something very complicated that you have made
before?

Yes, I'd feel comfortable doing that since I'd made the dish before.

Would you ever have a housekeeper cleaning your home while you're not home, if you had used that person before?

Yes, I used to have a cleaning service when I was married and they came while we worked. When one of
my kitties had surgery, I took the day off and it was a cleaning day. I felt odd being there while they were
there so I left.

Would you ever clean other people's home for a living?

SORRY, I was too slow. I'a
ll answer Mia's question: No, fortunately I don't need to

YES. After retirement and during a period of 20 years my husband and I spent 6 months in France and 6 months in Uruguay every year. We had maids on both sides cleaning the house, watering the plants and empting our letterbox once a week during our absences. The same maids worked for us 3 times a week when we were present. I never had a problem.

Would you ever keep your car when too old to continue driving and and pay a man when needing transportation?
