They're beautiful but I have no clue.
I will. I think mostly he wants to stabilize it and add shelves.Please post more pics as it gets done, so we can see how to do it!
Well, . We just got a fancier DVR from DirecTV for free (because we've been subscribers since 1999) along with three free months of Showtime. So yesterday I recorded Blazing Shadows on Showtime, thinking that, unlike TCM, they would know better than to Bowdlerize it. I was wrong. Every instance of the "N" word has been removed, and it's an integral part of the plot!
One of these years I may give up and buy the movie on DVD.
{Note: Yes, I know that 'the "N" word' is just as offensive as the actual word; I'm using it here only because I believe the site will censor any actual use of the word.}

Inasmuch as Blazing Saddles has an actual point (besides being funny), it's about racism. They manage to do it without showing any actual lynchings, but the "n" word is used frequently, especially in the early part of the movie, and in context it isn't offensive. This was, in fact, the least offensive way available to tell the story; and my objection is that its removal damages the story.I'll preface this with the fact that I don't normally like mystery books (they have a tendency to be entirely too formulaic, in my opinion), but there is one series I do read regularly--Donna Andrews Meg Langslow series. One of the most fascinating things about this series, in my opinion, is the fact that, not once in any of the books I've read, is a curse word printed. Oh, she'll mention someone "cussing a blue streak" or "swearing like a sailor", but the words themselves are never printed, leaving what was actually said to the reader's imagination. (Another reason I like her books is because her family is kind of like mine...)
I suspect your search is too narrow. Try searching on "how to use beads with plastic canvas". You won't find an actual pattern, but you should find the information you need about how you did it, and you can come up with the pattern yourself.All right, I'm in a little bit of a bind. (Just a little bit, mind you.) One of the things that Grandma and I used to do together was make stars for the Christmas tree. We'd use yarn, those weird plastic sheets with the square holes, and clear plastic beads of different colors to make them. I thought, since I'll have a little free time this year, of surprising my family with another lot of them. (They're pretty, but not durable--they only last a season, which is why we made more every year.) I thought it would be a nice way for Grandma to still be part of the celebration this year--but I can't remember how to make them and I can't find a video explaining how on YouTube!
I have a death fear of crickets. Spiders, snakes even scorpions don't bother me. But, I will hurt myself trying to get away from a cricket...screaming the whole time. I must have had a bad experience when I was young.Most bugs don't bother me. I'm terrified of spiders and insanely grossed out by roaches. Most other bugs just annoy me. But I think a cricket's chirp is peaceful.
There ya go: MOM IN NEED OF HELP! Vintage plastic canvas snowflakes. - NEEDLEWORK I googled "plastic mesh Christmas crafts", saw the pic on Pinterest, clicked on "visit," and Bob's your uncle!I don't even know what they're called. I have a phone interview for a position at a different company later this week. It's nearly similar to the position I did two interviews for. I have not heard back from that one yet but I'm not too worried... yet. The last candidate interview was today so they may need a day to make a decision.

You'll get one email notification about a new post in the thread, and then no more until you either click on that email link or visit the thread and post something yourself, or (possibly, I'm not sure about this) give someone purraise or otherwise show signs of activity. There's some way to get a page to pop up with all of your watched threads that have new messages, but I've forgotten how to do it right now. However, the easiest option is to bookmark that page.Wow! Didn't even know people were posting here still. I got nothing for days... I assumed it was silent but checked and boom! Whole bunch of new post. Weird...
In that case, check your settings. You may have accidentally turned email notifications off.I'm wondering if there's a glitch going on. I know I have to click the link to see the thread so emails will keep coming and so I'll see followup posts, but I'm still not getting notified. I'm also not getting notifications for Arti's thread either. Now I'm not the only one to not get emails.
Oh, that's EXCELLENT! A good, healthy weight, but not outrageous.Just had an ultrasound to check baby's size. He's currently measuring 6 lbs 8 oz and he's supposed to gain another half pound a week for the next 4 weeks. Looks like he's gonna be a big boy!
