It depends on my mood. My house is a mix of earth tones and some pastels. For clothes a go for brights and pastels with black. I guess I do a little of everything.

Yes, I have a few. I don't really cook though. My favorite is Joy of Cooking. It has simple recipes and good explanations.
My husband does most of the cooking. He doesn't like mine. He even complains about the way I make rice! I call him the rice police. He's over my shoulder - don't stir it, the heat is too high, aaarrrgh. It's just rice. I blame it on male menopause. Now I just make salads when I help him fix dinner or slice the bread. I do the grocery shopping though, so it's always fun. He never knows what he's fixing until he gets home.
