She's trying to push her first out right now but is having a bit of difficulty idk if I should step in because idk what I'm doing and the vet is out of town on holiday so I'm worried
Is the baby detatched yet? If not, you can go ahead and cut the cord an inch or so above the kitten's tummy. You can use clean fingernails to break the cord, even.
The first placenta isn't out but I cut the cord the second baby is out and I think mum is eating something out of her vagina but has not fed the first one even yet I don't think she has milk yet
2 babies out no placentas since I had to cut the cords because they where just hanging there shoukd they slide out is there a lot of placenta of what help!
You can make a rice sock for the kittens to snuggle while mom finishes delivering. Fill a sock with uncooked rice, tie it off, and microwave for 5 minutes. Wrap in a towel and let the kittens cozy up to it.
