Here is my story... I was feeding a stray/feral the summer of 2018, trying to come up with a TNR plan. Then she brought her kitten for dinner one day. Brought them inside and never looked back! They are now pretty social. I still can't pick them up, but they are always up for snuggles and pets!
Its better that they can't be picked up but they snuggle up than being outside.

Pictures then and now, Tortellini and Miss Kitty.
I later adopted Patch, and Pipsqueak eventually was adopted as well but Zorro, sadly, had to be euthanized because of FIP.
Glad the cats found you and so sorry to hear about Zorro :alright:

Great job guys!

Our heart cat, Fog, was euthanized late in 2010. Our veterinarian would take in kittens from barn colonies, stray cat colonies, vet them and adopt them out. I started going to the vet hospital in the afternoons when she was on farm calls, to play with the kittens. My up front reasoning was that if the kittens were socialized to come to the front of their cages they'd be more likely to be adopted than if they cowered in the back and hissed. My back agenda? When "my" kittens came in I'd be there to greet them.

Mr Poe showed up and came home first. Domino arrived and then came home 10 days later, on December 22. That year, 2010, she adopted out 100 kittens.

Here they are in 2019.
And while we love these two cats very much, as we have loved every cat we've ever had, Fog was the cat of our hearts.

Graceful-Lily Graceful-Lily Wanda Heart has really improved. She is a very sweet girl and can be very funny. I’m so glad she recovered. I thought you might enjoy these. They show how she has grown.
From me giving her toys....

She will never be too big for a new toy though. She has learned the joy of a nice soft bed too.

Lil Bug shortly after I brought him home. He was just over 2 pounds, right around 2-3 months old according to the vet, and not at all sure what was happening to his life. He came from a feral cat colony, though he was as unferal a feral cat I have ever seen.

When he was about 4 months old. Just too cute not to include.

And Lil Bug now. He is weighing in at 12.6 pounds and seems to still be growing at a pretty decent rate. If he ever grows into his paws I think he will end up a good sized boy.

Here is Merlin who I first tnrd about 3 years ago, time flies, he showed up with his brother Marlon, who sadly vanished. He did not seem tame at tnr and was released back out, he started to tame himself and became touchable etc. but he bit me outside when we were hanging out in the garden. I took him inside again for quarantine and a very long stressful period started because my family did not want to keep him and no one would help due to him biting me etc.

He developed runs/ ibd inside which took months to heal. Somehow I trained him not to bite me by scruffing and he is a big love bug now, he even lets us pick him up although it is not his fav thing. He plays with toys, plays with his brother Quinn, a siamese, and he loves to sleep on my feet and get tummy rubs. He even lets me rub toothpaste on his teeth every night, lol. He is not a fan of toothbrushes yet. I can clip his claws. He and Quinn usually sleep downstairs lately but they often come into my room. Quinn is very territorial about me and will try to chase Merlin off the bed otherwise he might be a spooner of sorts more regularly. No one is like my Wizard though, also a rescue from outside, totally tame, who spooned on my arms with his paws on my hands every night of his life. Merlin loves being an indoor only cat, but he wants to get the food of the still outdoor cats so I have to keep an eye at feeding times.
