Connor and Murphy have a big scratching post tree, but they still like to stretch out while scratching my couch and my mattress so maybe and angled scratching would be more appealing to them.  They use their tree, but I guess sometimes they don't want a vertical scratch.  I've said it before and I'll say it again - they're spoiled brats!  LOL
