I never pulled on it. But I did boop it with my finger. Sometimes she woke. Sometimes she didn't.I love the ones with the tongue out. Morty sleeps like that all the time. You can even pull it a little and he still doesn't wake up.
The bleps'll get ya every time. They do me, anyway. One wishes for a grafted-on ever-ready phone at those times, all too often. Those are preciously adorable Krista pix!
Yeah, I know. (And the ignorant say cats have no facial expressions.) But always a beauty. ALWAYS.Before her tooth extractions, she was an avid licker.

Sometimes she left her tongue out.

Her blep required a bloop to fully retract. After her tooth resorption and extractions began, some of these are brain-freeze pain faces.

But so many more were just too precious and adorable!

Having been firsthand witness to all of these, I can say it’s a quite normal case of projection to assign a facial expression to these. I can assure you that any resemblance to such an expression or emotion is a trick of the camera and purely coincidental. In every case, it was nothing more than a previously licking Krista whose instrument did not fully retract. She put the fun in malfunction.Yeah, I know. (And the ignorant say cats have no facial expressions.) But always a beauty. ALWAYS.
*Dad. DAD!!! Can't you SEE how ADORABLE I AM? Give me whatever it is I want. NOW!!!*
"Dad. I really am being VERY patient. *And unutterably adorable. See?* Now how about filling my dish?"
Nah. That's just a case of the Thursdays. "I ate. I slept. I sat in front of your keyboard. Now what?""Dad. I really am being VERY patient. *And unutterably adorable. See?* Now how about filling my dish?"
Understood. It was more a cat thing than a specific Krista thing.Nah. That's just a case of the Thursdays. "I ate. I slept. I sat in front of your keyboard. Now what?"
Besides, I'd prefer not to remember her as always hungry. That was part of her illness. It was not who she was for the thirteen or so years prior. That last 8 months, my heart was breaking every time she begged me for food two hours after the last meal. Still she could not gain weight. And then the nonsense on the other end.
These are 2019 pictures. Not from that period.
2013 -- a very good year! Back before all the stuff that came after. Krista looks very healthy, happy, bright-eyed and playful!
