Cereal isn't soup because it's not cooked.

I believe that the cold cereal in the pretty boxes that Mikey likes is made the same way kibble is. It was cooked at very high temperatures in the extruder. Hold on a sec---I'm not the sharpest tack in the box and I left my short term memory in my other pants......

Okay, I'm an uniformed idiot but breakfast cereal is still a cooked food.

It's like comparing apples to oranges, cereal is not soup. However, I agree cereal is one food that can be eaten at any meal.

Gazpacho and borscht are still boiled; they're just served cold. So I'm gonna stick with the "soup is boiled" camp, lol.

Gazpacho ingredients are blended in a blender and refrigerated, not cooked.

Aw darn it. I looked up the recipe and the first step was "boil water" and I stopped there. Turns out that aas just to scald the tomatoes to make them easier to peel.

So, hmm. I think I'll declare gazpacho a salsa .

Except that it's smooth, not in pieces like salsa. Also eaten with a spoon.

I've eaten pizza for breakfast a lot of times.

Cold pizza and sweetened iced tea with lemon...breakfast of champions. We're not sure about champions of what, exactly. When I figure it out, I'll let you all know! It might even show up as a future Question of the Day, in some form or another!
