When I was a kid my friends told me if you pass a cemetery you have to hold your breath. Children are so impressionable that I never forgot it.
I don't think I've ever put my shoes on a table. I just automatically put them on the floor.and now, I tend not to put shoes on a table whether they're brand new or not
Like every single one of my students. Also I believe the full moon causes maham in certain types of people.
In nursing, as well. Michele used to say that she could tell it was a full moon because the patients would act squirrelly.Like every single one of my students.
The full moon effect is well known in the teaching community.
And in our memory care unitLike every single one of my students.

Maybe a little "stitious", as I will say things like "crossed fingers" and I will occasionally "knock wood".Are you superstitious? A little "stitious?" Not "stitious" at all?
Ah...number 13! It is considered bad luck now because of it's association with the Great Goddess, who was a lunar diety, and there are 13 lunar months. I live at #13, as well, and chose that one out of 3 available downstairs units! My landlady was very pleased to have it off of her hands!I live at number 13, so I have to ignore them!
And with mental health workers, as well! Patients with issues resulting in manic behavior tend to be worse on the full moon. Another thing I noted...patients with severe depression tended to be more prone to self-harm at the DARK moon! The full moon effect is well known in the teaching community.
My nephews told me that one except in their version you have to hold your breath until you pass a white house. When I was a kid my friends told me if you pass a cemetery you have to hold your breath. Children are so impressionable that I never forgot it.
